MY 4 CHILDREN WHERE TAKEN FROM ME RIGHTFULLY WHEN I WAS ADDICTED TO DRUGS (PRESCRIPTION PAIN PILLS) BECAUSE I COULDN'T REALLY CARE FOR MYSELF LET ALONE MY CHILDREN AT THAT TIME, ALSO I WAS IN DENIAL ABOUT MY ADDICTION FOR YEARS UNTIL I GOT TIRED OF BEING TIRED AND HIT ROCK BOTTOM (I didn't hit my lowest until about a year after my kids where taken) BUT AFTER REALIZING THAT I REALLY DID HAVE A PROBLEM AND NEEDED TO LOOK FOR A WAY TO "RECOVER" I HAD TRIED SO MANY TIMES BEFORE BY MYSELF AND I WOULD ALWAYS END UP RELAPSING..BUT I FOUND A GREAT SUPPORT GROUP AND OUT PATIENT TREATMENT PROGRAM AND I AM NOW HAPPILY ABLE TO SAY THAT I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY SOBER NOW FOR A LIL MORE THAN 3 YR'S...AND I AM NOT THE SAME PERSON AT ALL ANYMORE AND I KNOW I MADE ALOT OF SELFISH DECISIONS BACK IN THE DAY WHEN IT CAME TO MY ADDICTION BUT THAT SHOULDN'T MEAN BECAUSE OF MY PAST THAT A JUDGE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO APPEAL & REVIEW MY CURRENT SITUATION AND CURRENT LIFESTYLE AND ALLOW ME PROVE THAT I AM WORTHY OF ANOTHER CHANCE WITH MY KIDS. (MY KIDS WHERE PLACED WITH THEIR GODMOTHER AND SHE ALLOW'S ME TO BE IN THEIR LIVES NOW THAT SHE KNOW'S THAT I AM THE RIGHT PATH, AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THAT, BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME AS BEING IN THEIR LIVES "FULL TIME" LIKE I WANNA BE AND MY CHILDREN WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO COME AND LIVE WITH ME AND LIVE THE LIFE THEY ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE HAD... : (REPORT COMMENTS

My oldest daughter was removed from my custody after the accidental death of my youngest daughter. It was ruled an accident and is listed as such on her death certificate. Both of my children were examined and found to be in good health with no signs of abuse or neglect. ( because there was none. I love my girls. They were my whole life.) Losing my sweet baby was like hell on earth for me. When They took my other and then proceeded ( and succeeded) in terminating my parental rights that was salt in an already excruciating wound. The judge who terminated my parental rights stated that my oldest and I obviously had a very loving bond, and yet terminated my rights anyway. This type of abuse by our courts should not be allowed! Because I would not VOLUNTARILY give up my child and my parental rights I am not allowed contact with her in any way. I haven't seen or talked to her in 3 years. I just want my surviving daughter to know her mommy loves her and wants her and would do anything to have her back with me where she belongs.REPORT COMMENTS
