For 4 yrs our family has been VICTIMIZED BY DCFS!!!!!! My nieces and nephew should NOT be in Foster Care but because the Social Workers on their case thought that my oldest niece shld be with the workers personal friend/Co-Worker and in fact the night she got her was PROMISED that she could adopt her WHILE THE CASE WAS STILL IN REUNIFICATION they made it their mission to whatever it took to make sure that it happened!! Then they split up 4yo twins and my nephew is thrown from foster home to foster home and eventually ended up with a foster family that has domestic violence issues! The foster mom lost her own child in a past custody battle, and anyone that lives in Louisiana knows how hard it is to be proven an unfit mom. I guess Dcfs never considered that or the fact that this couple is into dangerous drugs and live a lifestyle of being swingers etc.... It's beyond me!! Beyond me how this happens!! If someone wld take the time to listen to the corruption in this case it wld leave you breathless!! This is almost 4 yrs of nothing but bull crap!!REPORT COMMENTS

Neglect by Youth Services after we petitioned their help more than once for two troubled teens. Instead, CPS got involved and our lives have been disrupted by their unfounded interference ever since, because it's been proven unfounded. Meanwhile, youth services failed to help our teens and the public school system discriminated against my hearing impaired daughter because they did not offer her FAPE. Our lives were good, we were happy, and we had a 15 year track record of being good parents with spotless records and our four children were behaved and good kids. It wasn't until a false accusation was made and the initial involvement of CPS, over two years ago, that our children started acting out of our control and disrespecting any authority, especially ours. The false accusation was in fact proven false by CPS themselves, yet since then, they've been in our lives so many times for unfounded reasons in the last two years, undermining our parental authority and giving our children the impression that we are not allowed to discipline them whatsoever no matter how many rules they break, standing in our face talking horrible to us, disappearing and staying at a friend's house and not letting us know anything. We tried to get youth services to help us by filing petitions but they failed to help. Which leaves this idea of the kids having power over us via CPS and it's caused our teens to develop a mentality of using CPS as a weapon against us any time they don't get their way or when they get mad at us for making rules for them to follow. And CPS plays right into it. With them, the parents are guilty until proven innocent and when they keep investigating you for the same thing over and over again, even though it's already been proven to be false and all was found to be safe, it's like trying someone for the same thing over and over, even though in a court of law that's not allowed. And in our children's eyes, it makes us look bad as parents and makes them even worse behaved. It doesn't matter that they are taking the word of a juvenile delinquent and status offender (by standards of youth services terms) over the words of credible parents with good history for 15 years straight. It doesn't matter that we implored youth services for their help and they just ignored us and gave us the brush off, meanwhile our children grew more and more out of control, but somehow, their lack of offering the appropriate services and helping rehabilitate our teen's bad behavior, got turned around on us and made us out to be bad parents. We have 15 years worth of proof, documents, records, email copies, etc. proving our case of being good parents. It's a nightmare that these people have brought on us..a great injustice...while the real criminals are doing their thing right now.REPORT COMMENTS

HELP US.. I am the Ulster County chapter leader for the Tri-state coalition for family court reform. I read hundreds of cases a week from good parents mostly trying to protect their children - their rights are violated. Ulster County Family Court in Kingston NY and many other courts in the state of NY. need complete revamping, accountability for Judges & Attorneys and so called child advocates. THEY DO NOT PROTECT CHILDREN, THEY IGNORE CRIMINAL BACKGROUNDS, ADDICTION BACKGROUNDS, ENDAGERING So parents can go to court perpetually with no resolve.. Bringing in more money to this diabolical system. They need to take the word of GOOD parents when we say our children are in danger. AKA.. the recent murder of a two year old (Mason) thanks to the neglect of DC & UC FAMILY COURT & DC CPS. what a disgrace and the continuing NEGLECT of these courts to ignore good parents. How dare they over ride our God given RIGHT to protect our children.. Courts and organizations pass the buck, no one wants to do the right thing. Its time to clean house - those that advocate children need to be educated and take seriously parents with poor backgrounds when given evidence of issues that endanger. Put in place the supervised visits to ENSURE children's safety and don't threaten good parents with NONSENSE violations bc they wont follow an order that DOES NOT protect their child or children.REPORT COMMENTS

i was just awarded custody of my two grand kids. A very exhausting year dealing with the lies, could not afford lawyer. No one seemed to care that the information was incorrect. Facts are Facts and Opinions are Opinions. It is a fact not my Opinion that I live in a brick home with 4 additions, not a single wide trailer with one addition not that living in a trailer is bad. I just dont live in one. When asked why it stated that and why cant we correct it.......the response was i supposedly said so. So I asked if I had said in lived in an igloo would you have stated that. How foolish you will look in court. That was just one of MANY incorrect facts. When they ran out of hoops for me to jump thru they said i had a mental condition that goes untreated. WOW so glad it is over. good luck to any one going thru it, hang in there voice your facts and get it in writing and DONT SIGN ANYTHING.unless in front of lawyer or judge. even then god be with you and your babies.REPORT COMMENTS

Nobody in the system stands up against cps. Nobody. No court, no judge, not even in district court. Not even the state police! My husbands daughter was kidnapped by her grandpa, after her mothers murder, the mi state police told this man, in our presence that they would not get involved! They did this because cps told them to! Cps told them to hide this child! A child who witnessed a horrific murder of her mother and was then kidnapped at the court house after the judge awarded the father custody and ****ed cps off! The crazy part is if cps would have listened to us to begin with when we reported the moms boyfriend, the mom would be alive and the 4 yr old child never would have seen such a horrible crime. I have witnessed and was involved first hand in the corruption of CPS and its affiliates. I also had a false report made, about the location of my residence, and CENTRAL INTAKE themselves, added a sexual abuse allegation to it! No case was open as it was all false and unfounded, but it was staggering to know that CPS could add sexual abuse allegations on thier own, and revieve no reprimands.REPORT COMMENTS

Confidence in the judicial system is below 30% which seems very high considering what's going on. "Justice for all" means little when courts ignore the law and a costly appeal is the only way to stand before an impartial judge. In my case, the facts are agreed upon by both parties and the court. The law clearly states what the court must do. They don't. I'm told to file a grievance but I've lost faith in every process. This court has denied every grievance it received last year. Isn't the law the law? An attorney from one county will not take a case in another county because they don't know how that county will ignore the State law.
