But beyond the American Political Science funding debate there are numerous political scientists working to help understand issues of international relations, war and peace. I teach at a public university, Indiana University, in a department of political science that has a Nobel Prize winner: prof. Elinor Ostrom. Her pioneering work would not have been possible without NSF political science funding. This in itself should be enough to convince legislators to vote against the proposed amendment.REPORT COMMENTS
