Salazar has been nothing but a disaster. He couldn't be doing a worse job even if he intentionally tried to do so. Our wild horses are being persecuted because of this man. He has to go!!!

Mr. Salazar has proven that by ignoring the public's wishes on a moratorium on the round ups of wild horses and through his complete mismanagement of the BLM, that he is not fit for his position. Mr. Salazar has proven to be a wolf in sheep's clothing and a corporate advocate who will ignore federal law protecting horses in order to clear our public lands for a garage sale to cattle ranchers, and oil and gas leasees. Surely, the President could have appointed a better man to this position.

Secretary Salazar was the worst choice possible for all species. He is allowing the genocide of the wild horses and burros, wolves, and he has delisted the Polar Bear from the Endangered Species list. Please remove Secretary Salazar immediately and replace him with someone with no ties to the beef industry or the Safari Club International.

Please remove this man (Salazar) from his position. He treats these beautiful creatures as buildings that must be removed for demolished for future development.Knock em down... As well, his posted information regarding the necessary destruction or (imprisionmenton lots)(he has some lovely euphemisms)are misleading at best and blatant lies at worse.

The Department of the Interior is not doing its job of protecting public resources, including wildlife, on federally owned lands. The BLM is working contrary to its mandate to protect America's wild horses and burros. Time for a big change.

Ken Salazar is definitely corrupted by his links to ranchers instead of being willing to listen to the people of this country that want to PROTECT our Wolves and Wild Mustangs. Ken Salazar is a black eye on this Obama administration who pledged to use scientific assessments of issues from legitimate biologists and people who are not paid off by the cattlemen's associations. Why is the BLM advisory board full of ranchers? Are ranchers supposed to be deciding how we manage and protect our living western heritage? No... all of us.. the American people decide - based upon truth and accurate assessments of populations of horses and wolves. We want the TRUTH and we want above all our mustangs and wolves given the protection that they were already given in previous administrations, but now stripped away by vested interests.

Please rid this country's government of Salazar, whose mismanagement and cruelty toward animals is a disgrace and an abomination. We can no longer tolerate his uncivilized and brutal treatment of horses. Horses are an American Heritage and were always part of every aspect of the settlement of this country. They bravely and nobly assisted in every aspect of our lives, and thanks to Salazar they have been brutally run down by helicopters, moved from their habitat to hideous circumstances, auctioned off to cruel and abusive persons, and sent to slaughter. Thanks to the freakish control of Salazar this country is now viewed with contempt due to the treatment of horses and other animals within his control. Taxpaying Americans have reached the end of their ability to tolerate the slaughter and torture of our American horses, which has gone on for far too long, and never should have happened to begin with. This removal of horses, apparently for the benefit of cattlemen, has taken on a taint of criminal activity. There should be an investigation of and prosecution for the barbaric killing of horses and colts, of running them down snowy slopes with helicopters, and for selling them to slaughter. Where did this slaughter money go? What is the agenda behind this uncivilized and slimy behavior? Why was the generous offer of Madelaine Pickens to save the horses blocked? Ken Salazar should resign or should be impeached from his position before he has destroyed what is left of the horses who have not been tortured, run to death, killed or slaughtered. That's right, he is talking about killing the horses to reduce their numbers. How has this country come to allow such abominable behavior by a government agency? When horse lovers amiably and intelligently attended a meeting weren't there "gun toting guards" there? We are taxpayers, and we are paying the salaries of what appear to be blood thirsty thugs who have been torturing and causing the deaths of our beautiful horses. Please get rid of Salazar and anybody else in the Bureau of Land Management who has been a party to the killing of the horses, as well as other helpless animals, such as the slaughter of wolves. Please end the government poisoning of many small, defenseless animals that is transpiring. It appears that government agencies now think their positions give them a license to kill helpless animals. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Please remove Ken Salazar from the position he has disgraced.

Salazar's handling (so called) of the BLM and specifically the wild horse issue is deplorable. His allowing/sanctioning the BLM to kill off our wild horses so that private ranchers can graze cattle on public property is illegal as well as immoral. Salazar must go!

Death to wolves and horses? Wild horses are protected by Congress, yet he allows violent, deadly round ups. He allows BLM to grossly mismanage their responsibilities. Tax payers want effective and humane management. This tax payer wants Salazar replaced. Mr President, please make this improvement.

The mistreatment of the wild horses is shameful. There is plenty of land for them to roam free with no negative impact on the environment. I am not opposed to cattle ranching; just not at the expense of the wildlife on public land.

How any intelligent person could ever believe that approx. 30,000 free roaming horses on our public land could possibly impact the ecology, forage, water, etc, situation on the open range even a fraction of what over 4 million cattle does is beyond my comprehension. One can only believe that there is a lot more to this issue than meets the eye and I believe the real issue is the eradication of the horses and burros, then any other animals that threaten the cattle in terms of competing for food and/or as predators, and soon enough, the open range will be completely fenced off wherever cattle graze, where the mining industry has it's operations, where the military tests bombs, etc and then not even the public who wishes to recreate will be allowed on the open range either. It's all about control of our public land, and I for one am tired of subsidizing the greedy cattle ranchers and keeping them in business with my taxpayer dollars when all they're interested in is taking over control of land that isn't even owned by them and that they only pay $1.35 per month per animal unit measure (AUM),(and cows with calves are only treated as 1 unit, not 2)to use! For those of us who live here in the desert, we don't have a lot of trees, flowers, streams and lakes, so to us, those horses are symbols of nature and freedom and when they are taken from us, with them will go our little piece of beauty and our feelings of freedom and we'll know exactly who did this to the horses and to us: our government, the cattle industry, the mining industry and all of the other greedy factions who feel that our public land is theirs for the taking no matter what we think.

He sounds like the typical cattleman. Why do they hate horses so? Horses are used by these men to herd the cattle, etc. And how in the world is the BLM able to do this when it is totally against the laws set forth by the Congress??????
