The American people love their horses, Ken. The systematic removal of the wild horse herds does not sit well with this country. In my opinion, and it always seems to work out this way whether it be bison, wolves or wild horses, if you came from the Holy Cow, you will ALWAYS be with the Holy Cow....please resign your position as Secretary of the Department of the Interior, we were wrong, it was a big mistake. -

These Animals are PRECIOUS!!! Who do you think you are taking their lives away?? When you are in any type of position of power, so many of you become callous & uncaring! These animals are Gods Creation just as WE ARE MR!! Who are you to say they do not deserve the same respect & right to LIVE & BREATHE ???? Think about it! You are not a young man so I am sure you think of your legacy. How do you want to be remembered sir?? Also we all have to answer to God when it is our time. Think about what your excuse will be for killing these beauties, & you will be accountable!! We all will be if we are ever LUCKY ENOUGH to be GRACED with eternity in HEAVEN!!REPORT COMMENTS

Clearly a conflict of interest. Cattle have no business on land that was set aside PRIMARILY for the Mustangs and Burros, yet time after time horses are removed and cattle are allowed, at a financial loss to BLM. Wouldn't it be more fiscally responsible to keep the horses where they belong, and with minimal cost to taxpayers?REPORT COMMENTS

Mr. Salazar is from my state and I am now sorry that I voted for him. His conflict of interest between the wild horses, oil and cattle ranching should have been taken into consideration before his appointment to Secretary. Our WILD HORSES belong the people of this country and it is up to us to decide what becomes of them. Most Americans do not want the horses extinct and with the plan now in motion this will happen. Why do we need an endangered species list when it is us who wiped out these species. Please I implore you to stop the wild horse roundups, let the horses have the land that was given to them!! Release all the horses held captive to their land. This land was entrusted to our Congress for the horses to be protected. Congress must SAVE OUR HORSES we did not want to see them only in a museum. Future generations have the right to see these American Icons on the land they own.GIVE THE LAND BACK AND LET THE HORSES BE FREE!!REPORT COMMENTS

Additionally, I am DX person with Autism. I require (DX) Autism horse riding for therapies. This is an official claim BLM has not done the Sec. 504 Rehabilitation Act of 1973 & other environmental and cost evaluations required by these federal laws to protect America's wild horses as inclided in the pool of available horses serving Americans with Autism disabilities. As such, not only should Mr. Salazar & BLM be enjoined, but I would serve as a named plaintiff any day to an Autism American class action for monetary damages against BLM to decimating the pool of potential Autism therapy horses in an act of discicrmination against Autistic Americans and others with brain-based disabilities.REPORT COMMENTS

This horrible man and his horrible attempts to round up all our treasured wild horses and ship them to a horrific death in Mexico is a criminal. Shame on Obama (whom I supported) for appointing him to this position. Heshould be fired and sent to Mexico himself (Salazar, that is). Plese stop this action1!!REPORT COMMENTS

Attn: Congress An open statement to Mr. Ken Salazar: It is apparent by every action and motion you have taken that you really don't want to correctly manage Americas Wild Horses at all - you just want them gone. Well, "We the People", (you may have heard of us?) want you and BLM out of wild horse managment. You are a disgrace to our beloved American Icon of Freedom and Spirit. You even said in your promotion of the Salazoo wild horse plan, that the horses will IMPROVE the land, that they will be good for the land in the east and mid west - so how are they BAD in the west? You and BLM say your actions are for "the benefit of the wild horses". I suggest you Wikipedia M. Scott Peck, "what evil people do", and really examine your heart and conscious(you may have heard of those?), and resign, but not before removing wild horse managment from BLM, and creating an oversight agency that will really do what is in the best interest of the wild horse and the ecology, and all other living creatures and environment on our public lands. It is apparent with just a little research that your only interest is in cattle, sheep and energy, and retaining "tampered" scientific reports from the Bush era to try to prove your points. I am sick and tired of paying my tax dollars to line the pockets of profeteers, these roundup crews, holding faciltiies and feed for no good reason (even BLM employees working for overtime and double time on holidays and weekends!). Just stop killing mountain lions and eliminate the current inhumane mismanagment. I support S 1579 ROAM, Restore Our American Mustang (and don't think for one minute if this does not go through that we will be gone!).REPORT COMMENTS

Salazar's disregard for the letter and spirit of the law, his indifference to appeals made by knowledgeable and concerned citizens, have made it abundantly clear that he has no respect for the office that he holds. Salazar MUST GO! The American taxpayer is disgusted with officials who ignore the laws they appointed to uphold; we are fed up with the lobbyists and special interests who rule the country and Salazar is a prime example of everything we abhor! It is time for Salazar to resign or be removed.REPORT COMMENTS
