He is mismanging his office and is not abiding the law passed to protect the wild horses and burros. People really need to open their eyes. Its all about money. Not the welfare of the horses... -

One must wonder why Obama even chose him. The "change" Obama sure came up short on this one. I would expect this if it were Bush. No principle over politics here.REPORT COMMENTS

Your reign of a bigoted regime has left a haunted trail in this country - it's time you leave - enough is enough. Corrupt is just your first name. Lies and deception is your religion. Greed and personal gain are the real motive - your proposed "plan" are an insult to Americans and a true betrayal to our legacy, the mustangs and burros. May you be exposed for what you really are. A disgrace to our West.REPORT COMMENTS

Salazar's "plan" to remove all the wild horses off public lands in the West and set up "sanctuaries" in the East, while cattle graze on our public lands... makes no sense, but it is obvious where his priorities are. The repercussions of a "plan" like this will not only be devastating to wild horse herds but it will cause problems we cannot even predict for ecosystems in both the east & west. The head of the Dept of Interior should not be so blatantly pro cattle... NEXT!REPORT COMMENTS

Elections have consequences. Salazar is one of those consequences. Remove him but he is doing what he has been directed to do. Salazar isn't capable of more than that.REPORT COMMENTS

I am appalled that these destructive plans have been allowed to continue. I ask you to please replace Mr. Salazar and stop the destruction of our wild horses. Mr. Salazar has done nothing to protect our horses, he has only abused and killed them. The 1971 Wild Horse and Burro Act was not designed for the horse's destruction!REPORT COMMENTS

The buck stops with Secretary Salazar. He has FAILED to address the BLM's negligence and breaking the law with regards to the effective and healthy management of the wild horses here in the US to preserve and protect them from extinction and thus is just as, if not more, guilty of these crimes. He needs to resign and do it now!!!REPORT COMMENTS

SECRETARY SALAZAR SHOULD BE REMOVED. THE WILD HORSES, FOALS AND BURROS HAVE SUFFERED UNDER THIS MAN. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED, IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE MORE HORSES ARE KILLED AND REMOVED FROM THE LAND THEIR ANCESTORS HAVE LIVED. THE WILD HORSES SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE AND MR. SALAZAR SHOULD SCOOT OUT. HE HAS DONE A MISERABLE JOB AND THE HORSES HAVE SUFFERED IMMEASURABLE PAIN AND DEATH.REPORT COMMENTS

What is being done to these horse is reminiscent of the holocaust...and the fact that Salazar ignores the public's wishes and does what he pleases out of sheer greed would liken him to a NAZI. This man needs to be removed before any more horses are killed or injured. He is violating/raping the wild horse and burro act!REPORT COMMENTS

It does not make any sense to slaughter the wild horses, so rich cattlemen can continue to pasture more cattle on public lands that they rent for pennies per acre. The wild horses could become a tourist attraction and pay for their keep. Thank you.REPORT COMMENTS
