I don't believe father's have rights. When the government is able to step in and make a person pay for a child that they don't have an ultimate decision in actually having, is violating rights. Women are making a living off of having multiple children and getting child support. I believe in supporting a CHILD not a mother. Lastly to the Mothers that have custody and do not allow the father to be part of a child's life should not be allowed to collect support. Why if a parent is trying to be active in a child's life still be responsible for paying for a child they cannot see? I am a father of 2 and I was living with the children and my ex until December of 2015. A child support case has been open against me since 2013 in spite of the fact that I have always taken care of the children. I have recently had a Bank Levy placed on my account leaving me broke because I have no access to the money that I work hard for. I have been denied access to a passport and drivers license which is critical to my work. This makes me wonder why I pay my fair share of taxes in this country because it does not benefit me in the least. The state of NYC seems to be the worst toward fathers, The child support agencies are extremely ruse and treat you as if you have actually committed a crime when they are taking your hard earned money and no one seems to be able to stop them.REPORT COMMENTS

I am going to start a petition to fight the way the system imprisons the parents who want custody for the right reasons and instead are thrown to the side with little to no time with the child or children and is told to them pay for the other parent to provide for those kids. I shouldn't have to help the mother of my child take care of him and then struggle to do it myself when I have him and watch him worship her for all the nice toys and hate me for the hand me downs. I have tried to get legal support, I tried to pay a lawyer, I tried to negotiate with their mother. City clerks have only one answer and one gesture. "They can't provide legal advice." (Point to documents on shelves.) 90% of city employees are women and treat men as if we are known criminals of the worse kind. They won't change anything. My husband and I just found out we are pregnant with our 2nd child. Most people would be happy, but however we are forced to seriously consider abortion due to the fact that he has 3 children from a precious relationship, and because of child support, we can hardly afford our own home mortgage and the 1 child that we have together (my only). His ex and all 3 children live with HIS mom, and every month she signs over the child support checks to my husband's grandfather and he covers the rest of the expenses for the children, yet no one in his family has actually helped my husband and i, just his ex. She lives with his mom rent free, drives her vehicle for free, gets free childcare from her, and she gets food stamps, wic, and medicaid for all 3 children, all the while going to a 4 year university to get a degree in physical therapy, that my husband's grandparents are also supporting financially, and getting support from us. Also, she has put all 3 children into a private catholic school, which is NOT cheap. All the while my husband and I are in debt from trying to make ends meet. It really burns me and fills me up with resent that I have to probably abort a baby that I really want, just so we don't foreclose on our home because we have to support her, when she doesn't even try and reaps all the benefits from MY HUSBAND'S family!!!!! My son is paying back child support in Traverse City MI for a child that isn't even HIS. a Court Ordered DNA test Proved that and the judge issued the Revocation of Paternity Act But yet my son is Still Paying Child Support. NOW Here is the Really Messed up part. MY SON is paying Child Support to HIS father ( MY EX husband) YES..thats Correct) The baby don't EVEN live with my ex.Kiara Lives with her real Dad. .. YET My son IS Paying CHild support to his Father. And because my son Brendan was out of work for a couple months T.C Michigan put a Warrant out for his arrest. WITHOUT Notifiying anyone. The Police came to MY door looking for my son for this stupid warrant. The FOC has taken my sons Federal and State income tax and over half his weekly checks each week to which he can't even pay his rent now. ALL THIS for a baby that isn't EVEN HIS!! and the Money isn't Even GOING To the baby. ITs going to my son's so called dad. What a MESSED UP system TRAVERSE CITY is!!!!! I think it's horrible the courts include housing and sustinence allowances in child support for military. I have to pay her $1500 a month because the allowances I am given to support myself are included. Without including those my payment would be $700. Also the state get money for you being in jail but there is no money put on your child support Bill. How is that a crime prison because you can't pay.. Love don't cost nothing. my boyfriend is going through this nightmare. he is a good father . his ex refuses to work. now is taking me back to court to relocate the kids out of state. to take my visitation right away. i have to pay a lawyer and most of the cost . that she started. taking my kids out of state . is a financal hardship just to see my kids for a little while. my ex does not allow me to talk to my kids on the phone now. this is not fair!REPORT COMMENTS

My fiance & brothers have been screwed over by child support. March 7,2016 fiance went to court because of back support. He was ordered to pay $1903 in arrears by April 11,2016. Ive made money gram payments and always call in a few days to verify balance. March 30,2016 the last $150 was paid bringing arrearage to $0(my records) but according to AG office hes still behind $338. Theres no way. I call bull****!! My brother has 2 daughters and since he wants nothing to do with the mother he hasnt seen daughters in 16 years, but still pays current support/arrearage. The daughters 16 & 15 have legally had their last name changed to the step-dads last name.(which is all good cause he has raised them) My brother still has to pay $1400 a month support. Thats not far , if legally they can change their name then the support should be cut off.REPORT COMMENTS
