Please, please, please make this law. My grandchildren are being alienated from us, the grandparents and their mother. Their father is an abuser! He has even fractured my grandson's skull when he was 2 months old. Yet the court has given him residential custody. My daughter hasn't seen her kids in about 7 months. Court dates are so far apart and the alternator keeps pushing them or not abiding by the court ordered visitation. HE'S A SEVERE ALIENATION BY DEFINITION!REPORT COMMENTS

Call Ingham County Michigan FOC 1 (517) 483-6103 and leave a recorded message that this monster must be put away. shannon layow (an alias) has a court date there December 31st, 2016. She is being tried for again kidnapping children she has already been convicted of 16 counts of abusing .She has kidnapped them again and took them out of State September 25th, 2015. The Children have been missing since December 17th, 2004. carrie lynn bellomy the maternal grandma is also involved using stolen social security money to fund this kidnapping, and just as guilty of taking them out of the State. My ex has nearly killed one of my children from neglect after making my children believe that I was someone horrible. He ruined the lives of not only myself but my other children by kidnapping their siblings. I was never allowed my due process in court by the judge. I never spoke a word to be able to get my kids back. They were not taken by the state, they were kidnapped by a man who never had anything to do with my kids for 12 years until he was in financial trouble and less than a week away from deployment in the army and he wanted out of it in Ft. Riley, KS. He made up horrible lies, and he changed his story in each case he filed, but the judge sis not listen because he wore his ceremonial blue uniform to court...well, it worked so that Judge Kyra Franks in Washington County, OK refused to see the thousands of pages of evidence against John as well as recorded conversations showing him lying about it all. They put my children in a home with an abuser and his wife who is a multiple convicted drug felon with Federal drug charges...but because I never got to speak, like many other alienated parents, this is the place my kids are! HELP us put a stop to this! We, As loving parents are begging for you to save our children from these abusers!REPORT COMMENTS

I have a son and daughter who have both decided to go their sperated ways with their spouse / partner. My daughter encourges her ex-husband to be part of the children lives, and tries her best to co-parent, but he refuses. at the present moment he has no idea how lucky he is. Then ,there is my son, who has begged his ex for the last two years to see his children; even if it was just a hour. I have seen him stand at the door for hours waiting and waiting for her to bring them. I have seen him cry and cry, I have seen my son give up, and turn to other means just to deal with the pain of not seeing his children. She makes unrealistic demands on him, and until he can meet those demand she says he can not see them. oh and he MIGHT get to speak to them on the phone every two to three months. For some reason, the child support system can force child support, but when you ask. "can I get help to see my children they say hire a lawyer!' Our goverment ALLOWS this abuse. IT NEEDS TO STOP...PARENTAL ALIENATION IS ABUSE!!! Please help our children !!!REPORT COMMENTS

My son who I raised and his father had nothing to do with him till he was 9 decided to take our son from me and when this happen he used a parenting plan that was never finished because he said he would never use our son as a pawn . He decided that when child support was filled that he was not going to pay. The next best thing was lie and try to put me in jail for kidnapping which did not work. Now that he has our son, he has managed to teach my son to say hurtful things and he has kept us apart for almsot 3 years and not let us speak to each other or see eachother. My son is now 11 and the last rhing he said to me was i brain washed him and his step mom is a better mon then me. He didnt come up with that on his own. I am a single mom and I have 3 kids who live with me and that I support. I have a job. My kids do amazing in school and around people. My heart is broken because I dont have the money to take this to court. I cant protwct my son and this is the most painful thing I have had to endure and I have my hands tied because there is nothing that I can do. I love my children........REPORT COMMENTS

Children NEED their mom and they NEED their dad. When there is personal conflict between the parents, the kids get caught in their web. Children have the right to know and love both parents and as a society we need to advocate for them. Money should not be allowed to buy the judgement in court. Our system is broken!! So many parents can't afford to provide for their kids and fight for their rights. I had to let my middle son go live with his dad because I could not afford to hire a lawyer to exercise my rights, I have other children I am financially responsible for, so I let him go. Parental alienation is for certain child abuse. No child deserves to grow up with the mental and psychological manipulation associated with parental alienation. NO parent should use their child as a "therapist" to complain about the other parent. I've been told, "oh, your child will become resilient and it will be a good thing". How about NO child deserves to grow up with the same mental manipulation that almost destroyed me, as an adult, had I not left. Children's socio emotional skills are not fully developed. How can they stop the abuse themselves if it becomes "normal" to them? They will grow up having a distorted view of reality. The courts, who have not held my ex husband accountable for disobeying every court order, have made the situation worse.
