According to FBI data, AR;s & AK;s are not commonly used to commit crimes. They have been used in some mass shootings, however. Although the mass media outlets would have us believe that these horrible acts of violence are common, they are not! to punish the many law abiding citizens for the acts of a few does not justify passing SB 374 the so called "assault weapons" bill I urge Governor Brown to veto this bill. just because you call these assault weapons does not make them so. An assault weapon has the capability to fire full automatic, AR's And AK's owned by civilians in california do not have this capability and are therefore just semi-automatic sporting rifles, There ere more legitimate reasons to have standard capacity magazines then there are to ban them! Please educate yourself on firearms before you try to make laws that make us less safe, rather than more safe. Thank YouREPORT COMMENTS
