Please stop ALL gun control immediately. Especially since it effectively violates our constitutionally right to keep and bear all firearms. You're attacking law abiding citizens ! Not criminals . If you continue to support such gun control acts in anyway myself as well as my family friends and anyone of my clients Will continue to vote against you in your party And each one of us will continue to spread the word until this is reversed and completely deleted from the pages of history Thank you and God bless -Taren Meacham. Small Business owner and Family man

I've had it with retard politicians forcing all people to live by their retard liberal ideology and using my tax dollars to pay for it. I have my log of retard liberal politicians, judges, congressmen, etc pushing and enforcing laws such as microstamping and I will not vote for any of them.

We as American people have the God given right to be armed for protection, hunting, sporting events, etc. If this bill goes through I feel many more people will leave California. It is beginning to feel more and more like a communistic run state and we are not happy about it. . If people want to kill someone they will use whatever they have even a vehicle so banning our guns will only leave us defenseless and take away our rights but let the gangs, crooks, drug addicts and other people who are not mentally stable free to do as they please. They will get what they want no matter what which leave us unsafe. So you take our guns then they will still have them and if that fails they will use other means to accomplish their sick acts. We have people from other countries walking around with swords because it is their religious beliefs and feel it is their right to practice it here in the USA. I as a US born citizen cannot even have in my possession outside my home a knife longer than I believe seven inches but they have the equivalent of a machette on their person and that is legal because of their religion. They bring what they think is their right to this country well that is not right when our government is trying to take our Second Amendment rights away from us. The have used these weapons to attack and chop off heads etc. and yet it is still ok and they were not even born here and probably are not citizens. What you are trying to do to law abiding US citizens is so wrong and unfair. It is all about controlling people. I bet our governor has protection so apparently that does make us equal in his eyes and apparently our lives do not matter as much as his. I think our forefathers would be turning in their graves seeing what has happen to the once great state and country.

Did you know we are the only state that has not been allowed any new model handguns to be sold in here (in CA) since 2013? It is now 2016. Can you imagine if car manufacturers were prevented from releasing new car models for three years? It enrages me that in most of the rest of the country, all new gun models are available to consumers. I cannot get over the ignorance of so many politicians and everyday American citizens who honestly believe that (a) tougher gun laws will prevent violence, and (2) that it is OK to go against the fundamental rights given to us by the Constitutuion. Our founding fathers annexed themselves from England in part because of an oppressive government who would not allow its citizens to protect themselves against tyranny or other threats from their own government! That is not democracy! We're is our help from NRA? Where are all our CA gun lobbyists? We need help! Get involved and be vocal...CA chipping away at our gun rights by limiting certain models and magazine capacities is in effect "prohibition by omission". This goes against our very American values!

Liberty. The Constitution & Bill of Rights are not up for debate. No matter how stupid you think the average American is. Now matter how superior you think you may be. With your sheltered academic life

Is it your intention to hurt law-abiding citizens? I am thinking it must be because you know as well as we do that these laws only hamper us from protecting ourselves . The criminals will still get their guns just as they always have . Look at Chicago ,it is a perfect example of how well these kinds of laws work in reducing gun violence and crime. They don't , in fact they make it worse . Stop hurting the regular people

I was born with the right to bear arms and will die with that right. This will lead to a civil war, which will kill way more people than we have ever seen. I'm telling you, you don't understand how serious the sleepy south is about this. We will march, we will do whatever we must to see that an elected official does not betray the founding forefathers by infringing upon that right... The 2nd amendment does not say "Bear arms except certain types, only bear for hunting animals" I bought my weapons not for hunting, but for my family, in the event-we get a Hitler in office who tries to put us in captivity. I am certain if an army shows up at my home a deer rifle will not help me. It's for rapist and theives, who are armed, after government collapses from disease outbreak or invasion from another country. I will defend the homeland. From my front porch. And I will NOT stand for some Jeri telling me I cannot do this. That I cannot rest knowing I am ready for a foreign invader or a mob of murdering people.

I have been a law abiding gun owner for over 40 years. I've taught gun safety, voted on upholding local and State gun laws and have been in 100% aggreeance with background checks. But since moving to California, and witnessing gun clubs, and responsible citizens harassed and victimized by owning a legal weapon is beyond belief. And again, after following all this State's rules and regulations, they want to adopt new proposals that would limit our rights again by mandating laws against owning ammunition is mind boggling. No, I will not vote for that!

Responsible citizens in CA are the only ones effected by this irrational ban on handguns. Most criminals do not get handguns through legal channels. This illegal gun ban in CA does nothing to deter criminals from getting guns and is unconstitutional. I will not vote for any person from any party that is anti-gun ANYTHING.

Commicalifornia is stripping away the rights of legal, law abiding citizens while it allows "sanctuary" to illegals, criminals. The right to defend oneself starts at the ballot. We need to show in force to the self serving politicians who will run after any sound bite to further their careers. Cold dead hands, only way you taking my gun from me.

I do not understand how anyone can believe that taking law abiding citizens guns away from them can help to protect anyone from being assaulted by some criminal with a gun. Wake up! Everyone knows that when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns! Politicians that believe anti-gun laws will help solve the problem, need to check out the true facts. As a young man my Grandfather told me " son, as you go through life believe half of what you hear and find out the other half yourself "

Limiting the ability of the law abiding public to fend off an ever LIMITLESS criminal ill-intent is utter madness. It opposes all logic to be left with little more than a whistle and a telephone in the face of our reality. True public safety begins only when a community is both well armed AND educated. It's time to consider what it really means to be an America that stands proud and free. To settle for anything less would be unacceptable and entirely UNPATRIOTIC.
