People that voted for these ridiculous law's don't even know the difference between an assault rifle & a semiautomatic rifle!! They should spend more time educating the people on what it is they are asking them to vote on. Instead of just trying to push their political agenda to further their careers! When will they understand that criminals don't obey the LAW. In fact, criminals love these law's cuz they know it will limit their victims & make it easier for them to continue to assault, rob & murder their victims! What we really need are COMPETENT leaders that actually know what they are doing!!

    I am a proud American who enjoys the freedoms this country has given us and the opportunity to succeed in the American dream. I realize there's got to be some regulations on certain issues that are for the better good of the people. However things are getting scary in all areas of our lives(economic, foreign affairs, government). What ever happened to "common sense" laws and regulations that most folks agree on. Why does politics play this ridiculous role in forcing there view and law, why not just come to agreement between both parties that's acceptable for All . I'm a younger man who is worried what the country will look like for my children and I've heard this from countless peers. Regarding these gun laws and regulations, some make sense. Most do not and its terrible that u guys r trying to enforce something that will only affect "LAW ABBIDING CITIZENS". The people who respect the country and its laws! NOT the criminals who will still rob,kill,terrorize,etc the communities they live in. Shooting guns has become a very fun hobby with my family in recent years and yes, it doesn't hurt to be able to protect my family if someone try's to come into my home to do any harm to us. Mr. brown, please put aside your political stance and just abide by what the constitution reads. You are only helping bad people do more bad things..God bless us all

Look at their laws they are designed to harass the money makers and do nothing to address the sespools they create; Los Angeles, Oakland, Stockton. They release mass amounts of criminals from their jails, they legalize drugs, turn a blind eye to meth possession, they create an environment in which they themselves are unable to protect the public then blaintantly violate our constitutional rights.     By changing the features of stock, pistol grip, front grip and muzzle flash of an AR15 will not stop the criminals from gaining access to weapons and committing crimes. It will only work against the law abiding citizens who merely exercise their second amendment right. Do you really believe that Gang members who will still get their guns in the black market will give a rats*****about these laws, do you think they will stop committing crimes? The only people this will affect will be the law abiding citizens which will now be classified as criminals. The Governor of California should think about what resources should be used to stop criminals, not signing laws that will make the law abiding gun owner feel like a criminal.

    Throughout history when something is criminalize, it ends up giving the power to the criminals. Hindering the usefulness of a firearm for defense is like making all roller coasters have a speed limit. Why take a "tool" (firearm) and make it harder to reload? The firearm is useful when it's easier to use in an emergency situation. How in the world is a background check going to work for ammo? Would gun owners need to plan a 10 day waiting period to practice at the gun range? So what if more and more people are armed. I feel the safest at a gun show or shop. No one would be dumb enough to rob a gun shop. If a store owner is unallowed to protect himself and business then criminals will take the path that's easiest.

    If I am a law abiding citizen I have the right to any gun I choose to protect myself and my family. Jerry Brown doesn't decide what I get to defend my family with if that time should ever come to pass! No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. And this ties right in with my second amendment rights. Stop punishing people that are law abiding citizens....what a bunch of ******** this state is turning out to be. Make me register my gun like you make child molesters register their name for all to see it isn't right and it isn't the law abiding citizens fault that bad stuff happens. Why punish us you ask? Because they want more government and more power, they want silent slavery, and a people that cowers before them. With our guns they fear us uniting....just look at them silencing first amendment rights by calling everything the don't agree with hate speech, with safe zones and trigger words, and micro agression. We can't let them take this right not now and not ever it is the back bone of the power that the people hold in this country. We must protect this country from foreign and domestic foes and how do we do this you might ask? It is our guns.
