The Guard is a very valuable strategic asset. To remove the Apache from the Guard would be to overlook the immense experience the Guard has in Attack operations. Much better safety record in the National Guard Aviation compared to Active Duty as well. Guard Apache Pilots have the patience and maturity needed to conduct offensive operations in close proximity to friendly forces as well as the MOUT environment that can not be equaled by an Active duty 500 total flight hour boy wonder.Jan 21st, 2014Someone from Park City, UT signed.
