This would not only be costly and of no benefit, it would be harmful to NG pilots & their families.

The National Guard is the backbone of the military. Take aircraft away and you take away assests and expierence that cannot be replaced, thus weakening our overall defense

My husband is an Apache pilot. He has trained above and beyond, lives and breathes these aircraft. We spent almost three years stationed in Fort Rucker, AL for him to complete training. This is ours, and many other family's lively hood. Knowing the men and women serving at McEntire and what they have sacrificed with the continuous tours over seas and the time put into training the right people to maintain and fly these vital aircraft, I cannot imagine it being taken away and for no obvious benefit to us nationally. You want million dollar men flying these million dollar machines. You need to observe the quality of the pilots produced my the National Guard, they have been an investment with an optimal return. Respect these people, they deserve it. In combat, these machines are unmatched with skilled operators. We have those operators. Please do not toss them aside like all their dedication and training has not mattered and cause an unnecessary upheaval in the lives and families of so many. Please keep the Apaches where they are, that's where we need them as a nation that enjoys it's freedoms because we are protected so well. Thank you.
