I know I'm complaining and ignorant, but why is the military the answer to every financial problem this country has? The defense budget. Force shaping. Cutting military/veteran benefits. Sure, some things should be reevaluated once in a while to maintain efficiency and avoid abuse, but not to make up for financial stupidity in other areas. Anyway, I am literally days away from the end of my active duty enlistment. This bill will destroy the vision I have of my family's future. I have been accepted to a flight school/aviation degree program, and will be relocating my family to attend. The G.I. Bill was not the reason I joined the military, but I am forever grateful to those who put it in place, allowing me to make my dream career become a reality. Please don't take this away from us.REPORT COMMENTS
