Reform is necessary. If you can make an EBT card. Then they can make a child support card. These accounts should be reviewed Quarterly. How do you stop a mother from feeding a third child with the child support money you are providing or feed the mouth of a new boyfriend. When will the madness end.Aug 7th, 2016Someone from San Francisco, CA signed.

Tired of working my*****off and never getting out of arrears, this system is a joke and holds hard working fathers hostage in this country. Another Liberal idea that takes the rights away from fathers. It takes 2 people to make a baby. The problem is this culture feels bad for mothers. It enables them to kick back and relax on the backs of hard working men. Its sexist and unconstitutional.REPORT COMMENTS

My husband pays $900 a month for ONE child! Based off $30,000 a year. The child's mother has her in a private school that her dad (child's grandfather) is paying for, but they are allowing her to calculate it as she's paying for it. They also are allowing her to calculate costs that "could be" for the next year for child care even though we PROVED she was not paying that. My husband and I have a child together, and our child doesn't see a dime from her dad because he's barely making it by to support the other. Not to mention, one year our timing should be on Worksheet B and the other year should be Worksheet A. So the judge just decided to go solely with the one that would give her the most money! It's absurd, and ridiculous!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I'll keep it simple. I don't try to get out of child support. I pay all the bills for medical and dental. My ex gets $1200 a month from me for 4 kids. I recently took her back to court to get full custody of my kids. Here's the reason why: my oldest son tells me at the age of 5 his mom took him to a party. He was molestes by two men there all while she was right there. I was at work that day and when my son told her about what happened she told him to never tell me or mention it again. When I did find out I immediately got him into therapy. He hasn't been the same since. My daughter was forced to read out loud the new court papers in front of her mom and older sister. My daughter called the police to tell them that with all the yelling and name calling she didn't feel safe and wanted to come with me. My ex told the police she could not come with me for the night and left her there crying for me. My ex-wife's daughter just found out she is the daughter of her step grand father. That revelation tore this family apart as my ex's step dad confronted me saying they were having sex well into our marriage. Finally, my ex burned our youngest son in hot water. He had second degree burns from the waist down and needed a skin graft from his back to his legs. I see those scars every day and hate myself for not being able to save him. With all this my ex still gets to keep the kids as the court found she is a fit mother. I have been to therapy to be a better father and person and know that I can provide the emotional stability that my ex will not. She doesn't even have the kids full time. My parents have them all day and I visit them there but they never want me to leave. I have been called many names by therapists and the court's social workers as being too involved of a father. I am angry because what else do these kids need to go through before the court realizes she is not fit to have these kids. The courts already have made up their mind before I even walk in the court room simply because I am a father. The system is unfair to the better parent whether it be a mom or a dad.REPORT COMMENTS

Men and women should be treated equally no favoritism and all children should be treated equally not one gets more and if there's more children they get neglected that's a child's abuse if it's not OK for us to abuse our children what gives you the right to do the same And abused children that disgusts me and Nexus goes to show you're not a human being you're just in it for the money to fill your pocketsREPORT COMMENTS

My brother is an amazing and supportive father who is being raked over the coals by his childrens mother even though he has his son 80% of the time. He went to court with documents of everything he pays for and his current income, and the judge wouldn't even look at them, she slammed him with the highest order. Reform is needed!!!! Good fathers are not being recognized. Its discrimination. Regardless of the mothers lack of presence he still has to pay her and pay for everything else too. Its not right.REPORT COMMENTS

I have been on both sides; as the custodial parent for my oldest child, I was told that the mother's $96/month order couldn't be increased, because the state had to view her (as she was married at the time) as getting divorced tomorrow and that increasing the amount would place her in hardship. Several years later, after having full custody of my youngest child, I agreed to joint, then, was taken to family court, a court which promptly ignored the original order that gave me custody, ignored that I had in good faith changed that order to be a 50/50 with the other parent, a court which decided, even though I had another child at home, that I had to be paying $400+/month. This child support system is biased; you know, we know it, everyone knows it. This abuse is criminal. This prejudice is a hate crime.REPORT COMMENTS

One should also do something about the fact that LIES are being used in court by both mother and her Lawyer and Fathers never being heard or defend themselves and even when they do and it is proven the mother has lied or is the aggressor NOT to give her the children but put her and her Lawyer in Jail. They both committed a CRIME, not the father and not the children.REPORT COMMENTS

If DNA proves you are not the father child support should be seized. Lots of women commit fraud purposely! It's wrong! She lied and deceived and should be punished. Guy's just take the role because she claimed you were the father til she leaves and won't let you see "you're" kid. Find out it isn't from you, yet have to pay because you tried doing the right thing due to her deception? That's called FRAUD!REPORT COMMENTS

It is not right that father are doing their best and the system is constructed to induce failure and incarceration. The entire system particularly the southern states need to be introduced to the reality of the father's and spend just as much interest interviewing and documenting the mothers who are allowed to plague system as incapable. Over 200 years or female empowerment thrown away so the government can secure her self stem and nail, while the father is force to face eviction in order to satisfy the mothers need fore sake of the child who has no 8 Dea daddy came by to visit but isn't allowed to call or seen Jr. BECAUSE mommy just adore "forest gump... like life is just a box spite. Regulations, fines and fees are all placed on the father and the mother has total anonymity to do an act as illicit as humanly provocated justified by a judicial system that doesn't support justice neither strengthen our community.REPORT COMMENTS
