Dear Congress member, As we all know the immigration system is broken and its hightime now to fix it . Please do something for people who came legally and follow all the rules... 1. Allow (AOS) Adjustment of Status (filing I-485) upon I-140 approval so the candidates can use Employment Authorization (EAD) to live freely until they get their turn for receiving a permanent residency or the green card. 2. Allow dependent visa holders such as H4 to use the EAD while the primary visa holders are navigating through the permanent residency process. 3. Allow domestic renewal of H1B visas for those who are legally present in the US. 4. Remove the dependent visa counts from the annual green card quota for employment based immigration. 5. Remove per country limitation for employment based immigration. 6. Recapture unused visa numbers from prior years. 7. Remove age-out restriction for dependent visa holders if their permanent residence going through GC Procress

Backlog in employment based immigration is not justifiable after a certain length of time. The only way to fix the broken system is, removing per country numerical limitation, removing dependent visa counts and recapturing unused visas from previous years. It is unfair for people who stayed patiently in lines for more than a decade. Each day people live their lives in uncertainty and anxiety. Its time to help those who helped the country with their hard work and dedication. Thank You for the opportunity to communicate our concerns with you! Please help! God Bless!

Currently there is an extremely long wait time for majority of Indians in the employment based immigration process due to high backlogs and shortage of Visas. Removing the country limits would help reduce the backlog by allocating more Visas. Most of us are Indian citizens that are here legally and have paid taxes and have children that are born here in the US. We have to wait 10-15 years or even more to get our green cards. A majority of us have advanced degrees from reputed US universities in the field of STEM. Please help us by passing this bill that will allow people like us who go to schools here in the US and have advanced degrees and contribute to the economy in getting our green cards faster. Thanks.

I came to this country 10 years back. I've applied my green card years back and still waiting for it, its all because I'm an Indian. Where as my friends from all other countries not only got their green card but also their citizenship. For Example: A smaill country's having less population is getting same number of visas compared to a country's like Vary big population, which is not fare in the skilled based visa category. Today I came to know that congressmen Jason Chaffetz has introduced a bill to remove this per country quota system. (?H.R. 213 To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to eliminate the per-country numerical ...?). Please support this bill and pass the bill.

Please pass HR.213 and count only the primary applicant in the per year visa quota and do not count dependants as part of it.
