Every one deals with grief at one time or another in their life, but a child's death especially if unexpected can be enormously more difficult. I feel everyone should be given this option of time to heal emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. My husband was given two days to grieve our son--two days is not enough to even comprehend what it means when your child dies, let alone prepare yourself to go back to work, where no one will speak of your loss.
