My son fought in Afghanistan in 2002 and ca,e home suffering with PTSD after 4 long years of battling this; he killed himself on April 5, 2007. He left behind a 2 year old son that is now 7 and wants to know why his daddy died. He should have gotten the help he needed and the Army failed him.REPORT COMMENTS

We are willing to sacrifice again for an unnecessary conflict that is ongoing and again we ignore our vets. I think that the military should issue two books to be read by all military personnel, All Quiet on the Western Front and the sequel The Road Back. Next, every vet esp those who have served more than one tour in the combat zone should be receiving psychological evaluations and a six month debrief upon return to the U.S. this should be mandatory with no exceptions.REPORT COMMENTS
