I myself am being treated for PTSD as my son was killed in action in Ar Ramadi, Iraq on Dec. 6, 2006. Both of my parents are still alive and I had to bury my ONLY son who was my EVERYTHING!!!! PLEASE, everyone needs to make sure they make the purblic aware of this HORRENDOUS disorder!!! I hope SO, SO many more sign this petition as well. I'm a veteran and have ptsd and filed my papers with the va 25 months ago and still have not got any help yet and have had to go get it on my own I have had two different long time hospital stays and been dainosed by 3 differnt doctor costing me over 23000 just for my meds it cost me 200 dollars a month somethin.g needs to changeREPORT COMMENTS

PTSD can affect anyone and is not just a result of combat. Although our Veterans are a large number of those affected, they are not the only ones. We need a National PTSD Awareness time, so that everyone can understand just what PTSD actually is and how we can make a difference for those affected.REPORT COMMENTS
