Lupron, Leuprolide needs to be taken completely off the market immediately with out delay until "Protection Law" is implemented!

This drug made me feel as if I were almost paralyzed. I was suppose to be on a 6 month treatment.. I last 2 months. I then refused the rest of the treatment. How can you sleep at night knowing that what you are doing is ruining women's lives?! Us women with Endometriosis have a hard enough time. Im only 32. Dangerously bad pnemonia, rhematoid arthritis, horrible joint pain, terrible memory loss. Just a few of the nightmare of Lupron I have been dealing with. My fibroids didnt even shrink so all I am left with is a destroyed immune system and constant pain. I feel that my doctor did not give me proper information so that I could make an informed decision before agreeing a lupron treatment. I was talked into Lupron for endometriosis. I was given two injections 3 months apart. It was an awful 9 months of not feeling well, but now, almost 8 years later I hurt all the time, neck, back, shoulder pain. I can't focus at work, at School, I cry all the time and I ended up getting a hysterectomy 6 years ago. I feel ruined. I have been through a divorce and lost my quality of life. I'm 34 and feel 74. I eat healthy, take care of myself, never smoked, don't drink or use drugs and yet i was ruined by a "trusted" doctor over an extrememly dangerous drug just so she could make her cut from the profit.REPORT COMMENTS

Lupron destroyed my health at 44. I only took ONE shot. It is NEVER safe to TRY Lupron for any reason. Irreversible injuries can occur after the first shot. The drug destroyed my abdominal wall. Lupron causes severe hernias. It is not fixable. My abdomen is permanently distended. I look and feel permanently pregnant although I am very thin and fit and always had a very flat abdomen before taking Lupron. Don't believe me? Check the Physicians Desk Reference: Lupron causes hernias. Even in fetuses. Unfortunately this injury is only listed on the label for the mens' dosage. Of course the drug injures women and children too. Probably more so! All the doctors who prescribe Lupron are just idiot hacks looking to make an easy buck. Please post bad reviews everywhere for any doctor who prescribes Lupron!!! Like so many other Lupron victims, I have to consider suicide. This was totally unnecessary. It is NEVER safe for a woman's estrogen levels to be at zero, not even for one day. Horrific damage will be done. It should be obvious from the many comments here. The FDA doesn't care. They are preoccupied with oxycontin addicts. You can't control the FDA but you CAN post bad reviews all over the internet for any doctor who prescribes Lupron. Please warn others!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Lupron ruined my life at age 39.i had an ovary out,afterward the Dr came in handed me a pamphlet with the side effects,after reading it over I informed the dr.that I did not want it,because one of the side effects was osteoporosis,and that was already in my family,he proceeded to jab the needle into me.a few months later I fell into a deep depression,unable to function at all,long story short,started having chronic pain in left leg,upper back,all threw the spine,had to go on disability,before this I was in excellent shape and extremely happy,now I feel like a burden to my family,and all my friends,if I didn't know how suicide hurts loved ones so much I actually thought about it.This drug needs to be taken off the market,I can't beleave this Dr. That I stupidly trusted ruined my life and my families.SHAME ON HIM.REPORT COMMENTS

After taking Lupron for endometriosis pain (6 month protocol-2 injections 3 months apart) after having a uterine hysterectomy for adenomyosis the drug did absolutely nothing to help with the remaining endo pain. I subsequently had to have my ovaries and tubes removed anyway. The endo pain is gone, however now I experience severe spreading burning joint, bone, muscle pain. Pins and needles, tingles, and loss of mobility. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, severe chronic myofascial pain disorder and psoas muscle dysfunction, TMJ...among others. No real consensus. I have short term memory loss, can't concentrate, headaches, right hand tremors, have blurry vision at times (used to have 20/15 vision) am always tired and am on the depression roller coaster. I am in constant 24 hour chronic pain. I have had every test run, all clear. I eat organic, juice, supplement, eat chemical free clean and local foods. Have a loving and supportive husband with no children and with reduced stress life. I see a pain management clinic and am on a battery of drugs in order to just cope with the pain. I received the last Lupron shot in Jan 2013 and since then have been on a downward spiral. I have tried yoga, PT, acupuncture, trigger point therapy, ultrasound, hot packs, chiropractic care, naturopathic care, infrared sauna, hypnosis, therapy, biofeedback, sommatics, myofascial release massage, herbs...so far nothing has stopped the advancement of the pain. I am 41 and am trapped in a life of pain or drugs to control the pain. I believe Lupron has done this to me.REPORT COMMENTS

Since taking this drug from the advice of my RE I have experienced Horrible hip, back and pelvic pain. It did not help with my endometriosis at all. I also have memory loss, trouble concentrating, horrible acne, my hair is falling out, weight gain, severe depression and I am exhausted all of the time. It takes every ounce of my being to get out of bed every morning to deal with the pain every day. I have brought this up to my RE and she stated she has never heard of this, told me she doesnt know what else she can do for me and said that I need to see a back or pain management dr. Well I have since seen a different OB/GYN and he is knows what can happen while on Lupron and suggested I find this site! I am just mortified that I listened to someone I trusted because I was in so much pain and now I just feel worse!REPORT COMMENTS
