The benefits far outweigh the harm. We need to embrace change, and allow the citizens of Kentucky the freedom to partake in this medicinal herb.Jun 15th, 2011Someone from Pinsonfork, KY signed.

Less people in jail for petty possession charges, more tax dollars in the economy, and natural relief for patients...I believe this is a no brainer, regardless of if you are a marijuana user or not.REPORT COMMENTS

Kentucky was #1 at one time till the federal government made a "ex post facto" law regarding "Hemp". Kentucky's economy needs the benefits of this for farmers, patients with mental and physical health, to QUIT killing our forests for PAPER, the textile industry, the PETROLEUM industry, Livestock feed, Tax revenue from the spin-off jobs CREATED, on and on, etc....There already is 14 states that are progressive enough to pass laws FOR the uses of "Hemp", are we going to be the 45th state to pass the legislation needed for the FUTURE of Kentucky , it's farm families, our overcrowded prisons(where the MURDERERS,ROBBERS,and RAPISTS need to be)...Lets NOT be the 45th state to be "catching up with other "smart"states that this program is working for...PS...OUR SCHOOLS ARE CLOSING AND GOING BROKE, the lottery doesn't help when there's NO MONEY to be wasted for NOTHING in return for everybody ,GET REAL !REPORT COMMENTS

I have glaucoma. It is time for the people everywhere to be allowed to choose a much safer way of medicating themselves than depending on heavy, addicting, pharmaceuticals, that have TERRIBLE side effects compared to NO side effects from marijuana. Our body, our choice!REPORT COMMENTS
