I desperately want off ALL my pain meds. Yes, one of them is a narcotic. I learned about medical marijuana today. I am confused and extremely angry that this is not available. THERE WAS A 25% DROP IN DEATHS DUE TO OPIOIDS IN STATES WHERE MARIJUANA IS LEGALIZED ! Can't you understand there are people desperate for help? One lady got off of 26 different medications because of medical pot ! I'm not hearing any negatives, at all, about medical pot. It truly concerns me that you have an inability to go in a positive direction on this subject. This is sooo easy for you to fix. So WHY aren't you fixing such an easy problem ? You appear to have ZERO compassion for so many people suffering. I just don't get it. Thank God elections are right around the corner.

I suffer from neuropathy, depression with anxiety, degenerative disc disease and significant arthritis covering over 3/4 of my spine. The pain is debilitating and exhaustion from not sleeping well due to back pain is hurting the quality of my life. I prefer not to ingest man made chemicals into my body and am allergic to all prescription pain medicines. I need this bill to pass for my own sanity. I am only 56.

It's crazy how marijuana is a crime. Alcohol and tobacco kill people every day but pot has never. They should legalize it for people who need it for medical treatment.

It's sad that someone who has severe anxiety can go to the doctor and get prescribed Xanax that make me feel like a zombie and are very addictive but I can't go to the doctor and get prescribed marijuana which is a natural plant that isn't addictive, is safer, and I can function 1,000x better on. What is wrong with the world we live in?

Medical Marijuana would make a drastic change in the use of prescription drugs that are extremely addictive. I honestly don't see how alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't. Marijuana doesn't make you violent, nor completely ignorant. It helps with anxiety and depression along with chronic migranes and menstrual cramps. I'm moving out of kentucky so I can get my medical card, when a person like me gets denied because of the state law instead of their health issues and disorders it's complete bullcrap.

For the love of God and this good planet please please please legalize marijuana!!! Some benefits are: Medicine (so many people need it) Money (lord knows we need to pay China off) Industry (anything you can build, fuel, edables,) Less violence Less people in jail Less money to deal with that Puts drug dealers out when you can just go to the store Less likely to try stronger drugs because they won't be offered to you by those drug dealers Less likely to be robbed on the street I myself need it medically as well(PTSD, anxiety, depression) apron it being legal people can start taking care of themselves by growing their own organic fresh marijuana. Less money will be needed and the people of America can slowly gain financial stability. Please government people stop thinking about lining your silk pockets and thinking of the betterment of the world/ Kentucky.

I have suffered from lower back pain for close to 20 years now and I have been on any and every prescribed pain medicine in that time frame. The only thing that has ever given me any significant relief is marijuana. I have not smoked for 12 plus years now because of the law, but think it is crazy that something that is natural and has proven time and time again to work is illegal. Please give me and millions of other Kentuckians relief.
