I know the important role the National Guard has played in helping my brother be productive and give back to his country. After a tour in Afghanistan this is not how he should be thanked. I know everyone can do the right thing and keep our men and women where they should be. Manning those helicopters and helping us know we are safe.

Regular Army And Air Force power grabs are cloaked in lies; I trust my Congressional delegates to see that and preserve the Army and Air National Guard as the most economic and political free force in the USA. Thank You!

This would be devastation to PA. We have given our time, commitment, honor and many deployments training on these aircrafts. Even doing so better than the active duty. Keep them in PA!

This will cause to much job loss to count. Horrible idea. The guard just dropped 1.5 million dollars in me to fly apaches. Now what

Let me also add in the fact that a NG Airbrigade can maintian the same readiness and combat capability for a third of the cost of an AC brigade. If anything at this time of potential downsizing it is the AC that should be losing airframes not the more efficient, more capable and more experienced Guard forces. The Army loses most pilots after one or two enlistment periods because the civilian market simply pays more with less impact on family life. If the Guard has these units we stand a chance at retaining those experience pilots for future wars at a fraction of the cost. Take these combat and scout aircraft from the Guard and we lose any ability to retain this hard gained experience and expertise by recruiting them into the Guard where they remain part of our armed forces while still being able to take advantage of their skills in the civilian economy. The Active component is critical but they have a very myopic view on the world, they don't recognize the incredible value the Guard and the Reserve bring to the fight, not just in additional troops at a much lower cost but also in all the additional skills we bring from living and working in the real world versus only inside the very sheltered existence of the Army.
