It's time to quit using our military as a financial means to support unreasonable programs like ..ah Obamacare, extended unemployment benefits, illegals on welfare & social security just to name a few.REPORT COMMENTS

In addition to it being cheaper to keep the Apache in the National Guard and that National Guardsmen are just as effective, if not more effective, than active duty soldiers, it is a basic 2nd Amendment right. The Constitution replaced the Articles of Confederation because we needed a stronger central government. The states needed guarantees that the Federal Government would not overstep their bounds. Though the Federal Government may have no bad intention with removing force away from the states, it is still the rights of the states to maintain a well regulated militia in as protected by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. A government is for the betterment of the people when it fears its people.REPORT COMMENTS

It is irresponsible for the US Army to waste over a billion dollars on "upgrades" to the Kiowa in 2012, then scuttle the entire fleet in 2014! Obviously, there is no accountability for wasting taxpayers money and putting National Guard members jobs in jeopardy.REPORT COMMENTS
