We now live in a country that legalizies same-sex marriage. and yet sends juveniles to adult prisons for life.

The state of GA needs to make some serious changes to the Parole Boards process. Everyone who is deserving by an established set of criteria should be released and given specific dates. If not, they should at least be told why they are not eligible so that they can make the necessary changes. Everyone has the ability to grow and transform over an extended period of time. And most certainly, everyone deserves a second chance.

Transitional Centers were created to help those who have served a long time in prison readjust and reenter society as productive citizens. why not fill the transitional centers with lifers who are near their parole eligibility date

First and foremost I empathize and sympathize with the victims and victims family of violent crimes. I pray for your healing and that oneday you are able to forgive the person/s who have committed senseless acts of violence on you or your loved ones. Secondly, I pray for those that have committed senseless acts of violence on innocent people that you change the way you think and that you have sincere remorse within your hearts for what you have done. Thirdly, for the ones that have committed crimes as juveniles and sentenced to life with the possibility of parole. I pray that you are given a second chance at life and that your years of incarceration you have done what the scripture says in the bible 1 CORINTHIANS 13:11 "when i was a child, i talked like a child. i thought like a child, i reasoned like a child. when i became a man, i put childish ways behind me". GOD please have mercy on them all. Amen

In the state of Ga this is an example of a set off parole denied letter from the Ga Parole Board. STATE BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLE 2 Martin Luther King Jr., Drive , S.E. Balcony level, East Tower Atlanta, Ga 30334 (404) 656 - 5651 mn/day/yr John Doe, EF#123456 C/O warden facility name Dear John Doe, your case was recently reconsidered in accordance with Board policy. The Boards decision is to deny parole at this time. The Board determined that your parole release would not be compatible with the welfare of society (see O.C.G.A. 42-9-42c) due to the severe nature of the offense(s) for which you were convicted. In accordance with Board policy your case will again be reviewed by the Board (month year). sincerely, clemency/parole selection this is what O.C.G.A. 42-9-42(c) reads: Good conduct, achievement of a fifth-grade level or higher on standardized reading tests, and efficient performance of duties by an inmate shall be considered by the board in his favor and shall merit consideration of an application for pardon and parole. No inmate shall be placed on parole until and unless the board shall find that there is reasonable probability that, if he is so released, he will live and conduct himself as a respectable and law-abiding person and that his release will be compatible with his own welfare and the welfare of society. futhermore, no person shall be released on pardon or placed on parole unless and until the board is satified that he will be suitably employed in self-sustaining employment or that he will not become a public charge. However, not withstanding other provisions of this chapter, the board may, in its discretion, grant pardon or parole to any aged or disabled persons. now with this information posted what can we do for our loved ones to help them regain their freedom. open for any suggestions. thank you all.

On the behalf of Jahmal Bolden inmate #859575 he was sentence to life at the age of 17 and now 38 going on his 21st year in prison. He is a good man who made a horrible mistake in life when he was immature and hanging with older men that was bad influence. His childhood consist of three sisters and one brother his mother and father were addicted to drugs and wasn't there to help guide him and show him love and to correct his wrong doings. So as a young boy he turn to the streets and the gangsta and they lead him down the wrong path. Yes he knew right from wrong at 17 but the peer pressure pulled him in. Over the years he has grown and matured and understands what he was involved in was wrong was bad terrible and he regrets it ever took place he has apologized over and over and wish he could turn back the hands of time to correct the things he did that night . He has learned from his past and has accomplished alot in prison and earned allot of certificates he works everyday for the prison system . He has changed he has grown into a man and wants a second chance to prove himself. He has two sons he has missed there whole childhood they are 20, and 21 and his has two grandchildren. His fiancée who he loves and cherishes and wants to build his life and accomplish his goals with in life. She loves and adores him and is so supportive of him. I'm writing this hoping praying and wishing that his is reconsider and giving a second chance at life. Not only for him but for other inmates and there family's people make mistakes and get punishment and sent away for years and they learn they grow and mature and they take responsibility of their action and seek help and guidance to make them stronger and wiser now when they accomplish all the requirements of the parole board they just need someone to believe in them and give them a second chance at life to make it right. Not to look at their chargers and go off a chart that says they are not safe for the public or community because of the level of their crime people change people grow people learn that's what the system for to help people learn what they did wasn't right and help them grow into a better person. Not to judge them off a file that was 21 years old . Help me hep jahmal bolden inmate #859575 and the rest of these inmates get home to the families who love and miss and support them on there journey of growth and making a change in there life thanks for the opportunity God bless you for your time and god bless each and every inmate and there family that are going thru this long process of getting help and heard.. I'm writing you on behalf of my brother Jahmal Bolden #859575 he was 17 when convicted he is now 38 he is on his 21 st year. Seving a life sentence He was young when he committed the crime not mature at all. Our parents was not in the picture to help guide him from the bad influences so he turned to the wrong crowd and got caught up in a horrible crime. He is a loving and caring brother father friend and soon to be husband he has grown into a man and has learned from his mistakes in life and has accomplished many things in prison he works everyday for the prison he has many certificates he has earned over the years he is not the cruel person that the parole board sees when they look at his file. This is his first time ever going to jail/prison he has no prior records. He was just in the wrong place with the wrong people. Over the 21 years he has served he has sympathy for victim and regrets all his action and is truly and passionately sorry for his action and knows what he did was wrong . He just wants a chance to prove he is not that person that committed them crimes 21 years ago . I pray every night that the Lord gives my brother a second chance and let's him come home to his family and loved ones and enjoy the time he has left with his parents and family and children. And start his life with his future wife that he loves and adores and start his job that is waiting for him when he gets released so he can accomplish his goals and live his life . Please reconsider my brother for a second chance at life please review his file his case and help me bring him home. God bless you and thank you for your time and the opportunity.

His family miss him and his two children he missed out on their whole childhood and now he is missing out on grandchildren s life's . His mother and father who are now clean and getting older he is missing valuable time with them . I love this man with all my heart and know that he will never ever be a threat to the community . He was young and dumb being a follower . And now he just needs a second chance at life to show and prove that he is a grown mature man and ready to be with his family and kids and make a living and accomplish his future goals. Please review his case and grant him a second chance to live his life . Please review his case he has charges that the victim stated in court he did not do but was still charged with . Free my uncle Kiendel Tootle. He's been locked up for 21 years!! I need this man physically in my life. He has taught me about responsibilities as a man and I truly look up to him. I need my uncle because he is such a positive impact to our family. The only man that I know that can diffuse a family situation over the phone. We need him home. The parole board gave him another 5 years. Please reconsider this horrific decision. Kiendel Tootle for a second chance. Thanks!! Be blessed!

Good afternoon. My name is Patricia Tootle Tigner and I am speaking on behalf of my only son Kiendel Tootle that has been incarcerated since he was 16. Kiendel is now 37 and has been a model inmate and has a beautiful supportive family that awaits him. Kiendel has completed all of his programs and has served a total of 11 years of disciplinary reports free. He is a Muslim motivational speaker and is ready to be a light to the juveniles deliquence. If you would please take the time to search your database, you will find that my only son is not a career criminal. He made an unwise decision and has paid his debt to society by being incarcerated for 21 years and now the parole board wants him to do another 5 years. Please take this case into consideration, his GDC # is 846324. I pray that God has mercy on your soul. Thanks so much for this perfect deserving opportunity. Have a sunshine filled day.

My brother has been locked up for 21 years. He was age 16 when he was a part of a group of guys that committed a crime. He was new to the area and wanted to fit in. He has completed everything and has not had a disciplinary report in 11 years and has a family that is very supportive of him and needs him to come home. He just received a ped date for another 5 years. This can't happen. He is beyond a model inmate and deserves a second chance. Kiendel Tootle has a job, a place to live and most of all a fiance and child that awaits him. Please help us bring my brother home. Thanks so much for this opportunity and May God bless you all.

Parole these people and give them a chance ...most of them have family that cares deeply for them and the inmate has family support ...a place to live..and in many cases these people are innocent of the crime they were charged with.....but because of prosecutors so determined that one is guilty .....they don't care ....just give them a conviction so the case can be closed.I personally think that 15 years with the possibility of parole is long enough for a person to serve.Give them a chance to show the world that they are good people that made a mistake which they are true my sorry for. Thanking you very much.

Please consider those inmates who have a high number of years to serve a lower serving time. I believe everybody deserves a chance to live the only life we get. I am aware that their needs to be consequeces for there actions. But I strongly disagree that there life sentence will rehabilitate them as a living soul. I believe that if they have obtained the requirements as in the Prisoner has to be a Model Inmate, Show Remorse for his crimes, Self help classes for any substance abuse issues, as encouraged to complete any Educational Courses offered to learn a marketable job skills. Lifers are not getting a chance like they should to live a meaningful, fullfilling life as a living human towards there aging days. As a beloved family member of a lifer, our family would be more than grateful to oneday have home our loved one. With Sincer Gratitude Christina Tovar
