Judge James has a blanket policy of not allowing placement with family members. She does not look at each case and make an informed decision. I have been trying to get my granddaughter for a year now and have never been allowed in her court room. Attorney's and DHS have recommended me for placement but she refuses to make a decision. She made me jump through hoops...I had to apply for foster parent status and go through multiple background checks and home visits and still she would not even talk to me. Please don't vote her back in I believe she is using the law to punish families.REPORT COMMENTS

When did our government be able to walk in while there is a tragedy in the home and take our children? I was told by a hot line operator a few years back that homes can be cleaned yet when a family is really trying to keep up a home during the tragedy of losing a child and they have the right to complain about the exact thing. They wouldn't even do an investigation when I made a report on the other home that was really gross and unsanitary, but they come in on a day that I am doing dishes, washing clothes/bedding, etc. And my grandbaby is in ICU fighting for his life and make false allegations and rip my other grandchild out of her home where she is very much loved. She has a form of CP and she only is functioning at 27 months. When we go to visitation, she has a bruise on her cheek, sores on her ankles, and scratches all over from her foster home. If we sent her to school like this then they would report us to DHS. So who does DHS report abuse from their foster homes to?REPORT COMMENTS

Parental alienation is typically unrecognized by the judicial system due to incompetence and lack of knowledge as pertaining to the subject. Rather than protecting the best interest of the children the judicial system more commonly acts as a legal and law enforceable enabling contribution to the alienating parent. PA is a form of mental child abuse and can be scientifically supported by ACE scoring. The family court is in just as much fault as the mentally abusive alienating parent for failing to recognize this epidemic. Ignorance is our enemy and we must educate ourselves to fight for judicial reform. We are not expecting judicial competence, we are demanding it.REPORT COMMENTS

taken a parents parental rights because a child has behavioral and mental health issues that can not be dealt with in the home does more damage to the family by removing the only mother the child has ever known is causing more harm to my son.
