I have been on both ends, as a mother trying to get child support and friend of someone stuck paying 60 percent of his income to a child he has seen twice. When I FINALLY got child support through FOC attaching taxes, they KEPT 40 percent. My friend spent 2 days in jail over the fact that he cant keep up with the amount of child support he is ordered to pay. Our civil rights are being stomped on daily and we all need accountability from the Family court and their agents. NOW Family courts, Child Support Enforcement offices, wont let you bring another person in to the courts or offices without a Power of Attorney. I was sent by my company to work in a different state to work. My ex refused to work or come with me. The company had a relocation package to pay for all expenses. She still refused. I filed for divorce and then became disabled after an operation went bad. We went to court. I did not want to i thought we could be adults about it.The first court appearance the judge said you are the one with the deep pockets. Anyone who has been through this knows what a PDD is. It takes everything you are worth and gives that info to the judge and everyone else.They now know how long they can make this divorce last. I have absolutely nothing left and i am still not divorced. I have taken out loans and maxed out every credit card i ever had and it is still ongoing. Even after the complications have made me completely disabled the courts and DCSS continue an ongoing tally that has racked up a $61,000 child support arrears.I have a total income of $1.47 for the year of 2016. The inconsistencies of child support across all 50 states is absurd! 1) My personal case: Divorced mother of 6. Father has impregnated many other women from his "affairs". AK CS in excess of $70k for all. Works under the table to avoid paying or as a waiter to minimize income reporting. No consequence. 2) Friend of mine:. 1 kid. California issued $5000 per month. He was injured and is legally disabled without income for over 8 months. CA CSSD refuses to recognize disability and continues to run his monthly amount with $2k in interest accruing monthly as well. 3) Grandmother files for CS for kids she does not have in LA. She is awarded $80k in "arrears" by the family friend judge - against father only. Very inconsistent with the both parents responsible law. Sickening!!REPORT COMMENTS
