This is a disgrace. We are having relations with Cuba. Oboma goes to a communist country I work my*****of in south Florida and Cubans working with me get food stamps. Housing Medical insurance. And more. And don't have to speak English. this is a disgrace to America. Now they're landing on a lighthouse in the water and have a standoff for hours and now fighting for them to stay here. This is wrong this is disgusting disgraceful. Stop enabling these Cubans My parents bought there way here and got visas. Stop the wet foot dryfoot now

Being born and raised in Hialeah I always saw how Cubans abused the welfare system and how after being here for just 1 year and 1 day they had plane tickets ready to go back and visit their families. It is unfair for them to get privileges over other Latin americans if they are no longer in a political revolution. All they have left is a poor economy but that exists in other Latin American countries and people coming for those do not get the benefits Cubans do, Aside from the fact that welfare comes out of tax payer money and most don't even work legally, doing everything under the table and behind closed doors. Its time to abolish the Wet foot, Dry foot law !

Why should Cubans be treated better than other? They immediately receive food stamps/cash, Medicaid, clothing vouchers, and housing. I?m a tax paying American and I cannot receive those benefits. Enough is enough!

It is so unfair to allow one country easy access into the USA while denying other countries the same. Where is the equality in our legal immigration system. Since the Obama administration lifted certain restrictions with Cuba there has now been an influx of illegal immigrants coming into specifically South Florida. My belief is they're attempting to reach our land before this bill is amended, reversed, removed altogether. End wet foot dry foot now.

Why should Cubans be treated any different than others?

I've been living in South Florida for more than 8 years, and I have to say that I believe the wet foot dry foot policy has become a complete joke. Especially, when the majority of the Cubans that get here using that policy are not political refugees. On top of that they are receiving millions if not billions of dollars each year that could be going to something that actually benefits USA. When I say benefits USA I mean every US citizen whether born in the US or even those Cubans that have already gotten here on this antiquated policy. My thing is enough is enough. If they are here then so be it. But the policy needs to end.

This wet foot, dry foot policy it never made sense to me. There's a lot of people from Central America that pays a lot of money like myself to become a legal citizen and they just come here and get everything out of nowhere and we have to pay taxes for all of them...this is none sense and ridiculous. If the government wants to keep doing this then they should come up with the money or better yet take it out of every cuban relative they have.

Sick and tired of giving my hard earned money in benefits to this people that just take advantage of the free benefits. As soon they get their benefits, they start sending that money back to Cuba. Not fair to everyone else that have to go thru the legal system to become a citizen, including myself.

We need to end this Wet foot, Dry Foot Policy is not fear to other countries who have to pay lots of money to come to the United States. In other hands Cubans that come here touch land start getting benefits for free costing taxpayers to have to pay more because of this law we need to end this.
