The philosophy of DCF is a good and an important one but evidently meaningless to everyone working there. There needs to be better policies and stricter guidelines for employees to follow most importantly harsh punishments for those that deliberately do the opposite of what is in a child's best interest by fabricating statements, lying, bullying, manipulating, and threatening to achieve their goal of an open case/custody to fill their quota and receive as much federal money as they can. As of right now they are doing more harm than good and it has been this way for some time so until they show significant improvments removing a child should not be their decision alone It's sad but sometimes there is emergency situations where a child should be removed but because of the things they have done and continue to do they can't be trusted with such an important decision in child's life so require them to give parents the opportunity to attend an immediate court hearing to defend the allegations/evidence against them and if a judge agreed with removing the child at least the parents could offer alternative placements for the child other than a probably unsafe foster home wouldn't that make it easier on the child isn't this all about what's best for children? I'm sure at least one judge per county would donate on call services and that would drastically decrease the amount of false claims made by DCF I don't think many of them would want to wake a judge up to make false claims with no evidence that backs it up. There's so many different things that we can try to make the system better why everything stays the same is beyond me it's absolutely disgusting! Is there anyone in the government that cares about the psychological damage being done to so many children being ripped out of their safe happy homes and all the poor children that have also suffered physical abuse or even lost their lives due to this horrible corrupt system and heartless cruel incompetent employeesREPORT COMMENTS

Dcf took my friends two daughters they said he is a single father who can't raise them he loves his kids for 3 years he has been trying to get them back he has never missed a visit today they would not let him see them they said it was canceled when he got there one of his daughters was hurt in there care and wasn't seen by doctor there really protecting children who belong with there biological parents just because there mother messed up ain't the fathers faultREPORT COMMENTS

I have been involved with DCF in mass for a year now and its been a nightmare and still is..since the day my 8 year old was taken due to people filling false 51a reports so many times DCF took my child. I'm still fighting for her to come home but I have been accused of so many things and DCF still does not have accurate information or facts. They have completely ruined me and belittled me and I'm not perfect but I do know that I'm a great mother and love my daughter more than anything in this world and also I also know that I've been accused falsly belittled bullied and still a year later this continues.if anyone who reads this and wants a real traumatic story well I'd be happy to share it..the reason is for 1.hoping maybe someone will see the real truth and possibly help me if miracles happen and 2. Because my story is horrible and a nightmare but real.. And what I've been through and still going through I don't believe anyone should ever have to experience the tradgy that unfortunately I have had to. It's done so much emotion physical damage to my daughter age 8 and myself its sickening.. It's been so traumatic to me devastating its ruined the person I used to be.. And for me to ever be happy again in life.. DCF needs to be legally penalized for the damage that they have done and I believe that this definitely has to be a crime..I say this because I know who I am and what I've been through and bottom line I know that DCF located in Worcester MA is 1000% incorrect with there allegations and assumptions about me..I deserve my daughter back immediately and instead I'm still suffering every day jumping through hoops to get her back and literally every week they make up more tasks for me to do it is beyond ridiculous and I'm now so lost and confused and extremely angry with what these people are doing to myself and also my daughter my beautiful smart loving little angel...its heart breaking and my heart is broken into pieces..REPORT COMMENTS

My boyfriend took my daughter for a walk abd ge was walking and saw a friend a old friend he said hi and he wantes to see my daughter so he says hi ..then says hey my daughter and i have toget going..as he was walking the cops attack him saying he bought drugs and my boyfriend said im in a program im getting drug tests weekls..yet this detective kept repeating your buying or selling drugs..he was so furious..they found no proof of him buying or selling drugs he was not doing either..in fact he took a drug test immediatly after this happened they found nothing on my boyfriend and didnt charge him or arrest him so he decided to call dcf and report deglect..and i wasnt even present when this happend and so dcf showed up at my house without calling either of us and we gave them proof were in a program getting frequently drug tested ..well in there eyes that wasnt enough so they called our doctor without our permission and claimed were using.which is not true..so they decided to support the decision and keep the case open..even though there not building a case and he wasnt arrested..our case worker was rude and asked to see our arms for needle marks..like seriously...and she called us to see if we could go to her office even though it was two hours before she wanted us to come there..and got upset because i couldnt get there..so now there harassing us all because of this horrible cop..my boyfriend wasnt charged or no case is being filed..and now there saying there gonna take our child awayREPORT COMMENTS

I am fully supportive to a change. Dcf took my granddaughter away from my daughter.. I have 1 visit a month for 1 hour in dcf office, It's heartbreaking for both of us.. My grandaughter is 2 years old and we both have a special bond. I miss her so much.. All i request is that I am able to have my grandaughter on Saturday's from 11-4 at my home, and be able to talk to her daily. Not only did they keep her from her parents, they stopped ALL communication from my whole family. My grandaughter is now showing signs of abandonment, It's disguisting how these workers know Absoutely Nothing of my family.. Just reading papers they made up.. Nice strong threatening words.. To make things look worst then they really are. Nightmare to say the least. The Governor really has a lot of responsibly to Change this! Broken families caused by DCF.REPORT COMMENTS

I had my child taken from me when she was 9 months old. How they did it was messed up. The went into my house when I wasnt there and searched through my things. They told me(beacuse me and her father had just moved into the apartment) that they found drugs in the home while the police where right there with them. Neither of us got arrested because there was nothing in the house. They hid the fact that they opened my dront door and went in un announced and uninvited. I had another child while my first was in dcf custody. I had everything but my,own apartment cause I was staying we with my mom who had an open dcf case 21 years ago and because I was staying with her I couldnt bring my baby home from the hospital. I got both back and have full custody of them but I want to move out of the state soon and dont know if I can.REPORT COMMENTS

Just another mom from Fall River who doesnt know if she'll ever bring her daughter home. She's 8 months old And I've only gotten to see her 1 hour a week since she's been born. I do everything on my service plan, but it took a while to get into counseling cuz every place in a 20 mile radius has a waiting list. Because of this, they changed the service plan to adoption....? Seriously? I do random drug screens, see a doctor every 2 weeks to prove to dcf my meds are being regulated, go to an outpatient program 3 times a week, never missed a visit, a court date, work almost 40 hrs a week ... And because i had only seen a counselor once at the time of their 6month review cuz of the several months long waiting lists they want to put my baby up for adoption...? I feel like I'm living in a nightmare most of the time, but i keep on pushing thru cuz i have faith that some day my prayers will be answered and these morons will see that I'm giving it my all to bring my baby girl home.. These people dont care about families, children, or mothers whos whole worlds shatter when their children are ripped from their arms. Do you think they understand how it feels to have post partum depression, then finally see their baby for the first time since they got released from the hospital..only to listen to her scream for the first 20mins of the visit cuz she doesnt know who you are anymore? Do you think the rise of overdoses in the city is just a coincidence? Families all over the state are being torn apart and are losing hope.. Something has to be done..REPORT COMMENTS

I am 17 turning 18 very shortly and dcf took me away from living with my parents for reasons they think they know but in all reality they are tearing families apart across the whole US for basically no reason. The cops and social workers believe they are doing me a favor when really they are ****ing me over. I tell them what they wanna here so i don't get taken away. I really don't believe in foster homes and kids are neglected in these homes more than anywhere else yet that's obviously what these people want. How would they like it if i framed******on there family and seperated them sending them to places where they are uncomfortable, depressed, and ruin there life. This******really discusts me because no matter how much you tell them the truth they twist the situation and make it 10000000000 times worse than it already is. Im an adult but my little brother is being watched over and he is 8 with a hearing disablility, Like get out of our life you people have nothing better to do then ruin families and do whatever to ruin kids lives. I see what this program did to my family and cant imagine what other people are going through the same thing god bless them. This says if you want to escape abuse, you have to sacrifice your babies by leaving them with the abuser if you choose to flee dcf will force you to flee at the expense of your baby dcf says you must leave knowing an abusive psycho is whom with your baby is left to suffer in your stead. Dcf stole my children and dont have any evidence at all. My children just want to come but they twist and find every reason why these children need to be removed. They never even gave the option fotmr my kids to even go with a family memeber. Not even my mother that doesn do drugs, a school teacher, and my children have been getting abused in there fister homes and tgats ok. And thats on record. What is this world coming to. I own my own hone, visit my kids when they decide its ok. I buy them everything they need even while they are in foster care. I dont do drugs or drink. Why cant have my kids. I have complied with DCF In Fall River Mass I have done parenting classes gave clean drug test got myself into counseling never miss an appointment ALWAYS GO TO EVERY VISIT WITH MY CHILDREN. And so on, however my drug counselor hasn't been sending my drug test. Now with that being said Dcf says I am only impasto compliant. And they say I could have done more to get my drug test. I have got it I have tried to get appointment with my drug counselors supervisor several times and I have not heard back from her supervisor. I have done everything else they have asked. So with that being said why is it my visit I only one hour at Dcf. And how is it that my counselor has not sent the drug test so how is it that I am responsible for her not doing that? My social worker also lied. She told the people today at the meeting that she told me my husband which is not the father cuz. Going to the visit with myself to see my son. She had never said that to me. I own my own home I am drug free how is it that they can continue on ruining my cousins and my life are they not supposed to help families build stronger?
