I also have been a victim of the Bellevue, WA CPS office. They have lied and lied and have tried to cover up but I asked my attorney for a copy of their Discovery and caught them in numerous lies in emails and case notes are all wrong and I've been keeping track. I went to court and confronted CPS and then 2days later they tried to open another case with my kids and within 2weeks they closed and found the investigation unfounded. But i still am fighting my sons biological father with my son and they completely sided with him from get go. Im coming after you CPS and i won't back down until justice is served. You have ruined my life and separated a mother and her baby but you will now feel my grief and pain in court. I've never had anything to worry about and i still do not. yup, I agree. I had went thru court to try to adopt my little sister that was taken away from my mother at birth. I had went thru the process of having someone come to my house to make sure it was ok for her to move in and I passed. All I needed was for the judge to say it was ok for me to get her. She wasn't even a year old. She was placed in foster care with a non relative for a couple of months and the judge declined my request to have her move in with me. He said the baby had already bonded with the foster parents and it wasn't a good idea to move her in with me. Which I feel that she was not old enough to not remember anything. We had plenty of time to bond. I feel that the judge didn't even give me a chance. I didn't even get visitations to see her and get to know her. The judge said I couldn't have any contact with her. Now shes going to grow up thinking that none of her family wanted her and will probally grow up hating us. It's so sad and horrible!REPORT COMMENTS

I am currently involved in a CPS case where my fiance is being accused of abusing my daughter and I am being accused of neglecting my child. Regardless of the fact my ex admitted the bruises in question came from while my daughter was under his care, cps and the local law enforcement have came up with a story that my fiance admitted to abusing my daughter. I have been fighting this from the very beginning but even my public defender is telling me I need to leave my fiance in order to get my daughter home. This is a terrible act of money based greed and emotionally devestating to what they are putting families through.REPORT COMMENTS

My family became involved in an ugly Divorce brought forth from my wife due to the loss of our home during the economic downturn in 08 and I have not had representation which has not been a negative. I have asked numerous times for us to engage in counseling to no avail in court. I have lost my job in Healthcare/Rehabilitation due to restraining orders which not one person has talked to me about in Court while they are now permanent. I have not seen my twin girls since Dec 08 and they are now 15. Every time I try and represent myself I am fined $$$. I was told to pay my wife's lawyer $$$ in 011 and did not have the $$$ and spent 30 days in Jail permanently damaging my work ability. I still Love my family and wife but believe we have been abused by a system who feeds itself vs encouraging people to work together, heal, and forgive each one with the understanding that life is too short and as my poor older brother has ALS. That is certainly the truth ! We need reform to encourage people to work together and keep their family in tack with problem solving and a strength of LOVE.REPORT COMMENTS
