The current system is doing irreparable damage on a daily basis and it is evident in the current state of things in general country wide. Letting the lawyers run this system has resulted in a conflict of interest throughout the system. If it was your family at stake you would make changes. -

When is it right to take a child from its mother in the hospital? Tell her she will be in court with in 72hours. She hired a lawyer, showed up at court to be told the judge would not hear the case because her lawyer was the county commissioner. She was told they would have to get a judge from another county.There was a judge appointed from another county now CPS has asked to disqualify the lawyer. In all this time (3 weeks) the mother has not been allowed to see her baby. They are breaking the bonding period for the mother and child. They are not even looking into family placement.REPORT COMMENTS

CPS in Iowa lies, removes children from their parents based on false accusations with no proof or evidence to support it, violates your civil rights, all without a hearing or a court order. The workers don't follow their own rules. They don't make "plans" with the parents to bring the family back together that they have erroneously torn apart. They make the parents jump through unnecessary hoops with no intention of returning their children. If you are honest with them, they twist your words and use them against you. If you stand up for your rights and your childs, you will lose. They don't care if you or your children are suffering because you aren't together. They make decisions and don't inform you. You have to hear it from your child, whom they've told. They brainwash your kids and tell them what a bad parent you are even though you have done NOTHING wrong. Anything you've done in the past, even before your kids were born is used against you. If a family member has ever been in trouble in the past, or at one time was in trouble for drugs or alcohol, even if they've paid their "dues" and changed they are deemed unfit to care for the kids, ever. CP's workers don't even bother talking to them and put no contact orders on them. Again without even notifying them. They put thoughts into impressional children's minds, then run with it. They onlyblet you see your kids for an hour under their supervision although no abuse of any kind was found, no charges ever filed, all based on false accusations by someone ****ed off at you. People that have violent, criminal charges who are on parole, people that have committed a crime against you and are just trying to divert that fact. Yet they aren't even interviewed or investigated. If you happen to get a worker who doesn't like you, or one that thinks they are God, or one that thinks they are perfect and therefore if you're not (and nobody is) you will miss your kids. They give the parents false hope knowing they are still taking away their kids. They lie profusely on their reports and it's your word against theirs. Who do you think the judges believe? The worst part is if you aren't rich your court appointed attorney could care less who has the kids. How many rich parents do you know that have their kids taken away without concrete evidence of abuse? I could go on and on and on but its not helping my son who has raised his kids on his own, or my grandkids who were taken without any evidence of abuse and without the courts authority. I am in such a state if disbelief that this actually is happening in this state, in this country and nothing is being done to stop this abuse of power. How can we stand by and let this go on unchecked, unpunished and let it destroy our children, our families and our lives. I never hear anything about this travesty in the news, yet it's so widespread and out of control. But we hear about the neighbors dog growling at a kid who was teasing it. Although this subject doesn't seem to matter to congress I'm still going to send this I know the laws on cps I've done nothing but read and study them for the last 2months and sent this letter once before and got a letter back which was talking in circles and justice has to be served America's children are being institutionalized and ptsd , and many other emotional and mental trauma is being created statistics show that children who are being torn from their families and moved from home to home instead of being either placed with their biological family members or back into their homes where they belong considering the larger percent of children in foster care today are not truly or have never been abused or neglected families are being targeted based on low income due to the fact that they cannot afford attorneys and the adoption clause I am NOT against child protection I'm not against the fight for child abuse I am against the fact that children aren't being abused to be placed in foster care in fact children who are abused are unplaceable which make it harder to adopt them out and that's the goal right as a matter of fact it is the goal why not States get a larger federal grant or fund for adoption when in most cases these children have never suffered abuse or neglect in fact their emotional instability is being created by the enemy that is what they have become enemies who consistently violate our amendments our children's amendments and sadly they are getting away with defrauding the federal government sadly the federal government isn't smart enough to stop this and they are allowing themselves to be defrauded I thought our government was smarter than that but I guess notREPORT COMMENTS

They get anonymous reports and build a case without evidence and without parents being supplied a attorney. My sister children were taken away from her to her ex-husband. He is a known criminal, domestic violence record,drug and alcohol abuse and still awarded full custody due to the corrupt and injust CT Family COurt system. Sharon Dornfeld, judge Barry Pinkus and Judge Quinn all contributors to this decision. My sister has no criminal record, successful and educated mother , has never abused drugged or alcohol. Please help me understand how the court system and USA could allow this. There is a deep money trail to follow and is absolutely disgusting to see thousands of families destroyed because of this. Something must be done because every person effected by this and I will not stop until justice is served and my sister children are back with her.REPORT COMMENTS

My child complained of sexual abuse at the hands of her father, it was investigated. Complaints to cps were made by a physician, a child counselor and myself. Through a connection between friend of the court/county law enforcement and cps they accused me of coaching, despite my passing a polygraph. They gave my child to the father based on the suspicion of me coaching her. My child is in the hands of her abuser because of a corrupt system and there is nothing I can do but keep fighting.REPORT COMMENTS

My family and I have had CPS come to our home twice now, with accusations of neglect on our children by two people who do not even know as I haven't seen as in more than four or five years, one of them was by a woman who had just had her children taken away and I told her I could not be her friend do to her extracurricular activities which were not appealing to me. The CPS worker who came initially saw that the claims were false and basically laughed at them but has still continue to harass us. I am still continually being harrassed by CPS. Now we are being asked to take a UA, based on no drug or criminal history for either one of us. Her name is Kenia Nelson and the card she gave us is hand written. We feel like our civil rights are being violated and plan on taking this to the media if needed.REPORT COMMENTS
