Cps is supposed to be there to protect children that really do need to be protected from the monsters that obviously do put harm to children that need to be loved. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to be able to look at a child and know if theyre loved at home or not. I know drugs n children dont mix but there are some people out there who can function on drugs and have no problem managing their family n maybe even a job and still be able to give their children the attention they need to give them confidence n always feel sure of themselves while using drugs. In the privacy of their own home on their own private time they do their thing away from the children. As long as it doesnt stop them from being a parent n doing what they need to do as a parent and always remember their responsibilities they are grown people they should be able to do what they feel if it isnt harming or bothering anybody else. THis is the second time CPS has been involved in our lives and it is all due to someone else calling as a method of revenge against my husband and I. It's a shame how anybody can pick up the phone and make a report and from that point on dss makes it a must to dig and find anything they can to prove that you are a negligent or abusive parent, whether it be emotional or physical. Back in 2009, I had 5 kids, they all were picked up and taken right after an awards ceremony in front of my kids school. I was younger back then and did have some issues that needed attention and me and my boyfriend at the time, husband now, complied and did everything dss required of us to do and a year and a half later, custody was granted back to us. Now in July of 2015, my husband asked his own sister to get out of his house and stay off his property and called the police to have her escorted and she specifically said" I know how to get rid of you". The next day a cps worker called and said they had received an anonymous report. They came out and asked questions, seen that the home was stable, that there was food, and the children were properly cared for, mind you, now its 7 kids, We have 4 girls, and 3 boys. So they say its allegations of dv, locking the kids out in the heat, etc. None of this was true and because the person seeking revenge called the next day after that and made another report, they made my husband leave. Even after he left two weeks later, another bogus report was made which resulted and me having to leave my home and go stay with my bestfriend. I did not understand why because I had a place of my own to stay and they asked me to leave. I continued to call and find out if the department would be able to assist me with services such as daycare, and helping me get bunkbeds that were recommended. The worker continued to say, she would ask her supervisor and the entire time that me and the kids were staying with my friend wondering when we would be able to go home, the workers were going in front of the judge for three weeks straight trying to convince the judge to sign the petition to remove them from the home. The investigation they performed was very biased and they told so many lies to cover their own actions, decisions, and behavior. They made no attempts to try and help us so that the removal of the children wouldn't have to occur. They are crooked and think that they are above the law. Cumberland County Department of Social Services is very unruly and practice unethical behavior. I wish I could find a lawyer that would take on a lawsuit against them. I would put my all into it because no one is above the law.REPORT COMMENTS

I need help getting my grandson. They took him from my daughter n placed him with strangers. They are taking there time clearing a family member, one who is even certified already. CPS and child custody suits are fixed. Judges make a living being a "rubber stamp" for CPS - without CPS, family court judges would not have a job. Child custody cases are "fixed" by bribed judge with corrupt custody evaluators who give custody to the abuser and limit the good parent to supervised visitation - at $200 per hour - another way to extort money from victimized parent with kickbacks to the judge who orders supervised visitation at whim.REPORT COMMENTS

I thankfully have not had the battle of losing my child to abusive fosters, and find this disheartening I hav like many many mothers lost their children to Parental Alienation (common in Cecil County MD) the courts do not reprimand the alienater who use their child to exert power and control over the other parent the give children knowingly to.the alienater. Judges attorneys and caseworker are all aware n Do Not do the right thing Family Court is a big business. They are all getting paid. The rest of the nation is to be operating with transparency and the Courts Need to as Well. They should have to havw some accountability. God Bless America. My experience has been unbelievable! My caseworker has blatantly lied and manipulated so many things throughout my entire case. I have filed grievances through every level of Canton OH,and no one, I MEAN NO ONE will look at the paperwork that I am providing them PROVING perjury by the caseworker! I have all of the evidence I need,and am proving my case to whom ever may listen, but that is my problem, NO ONE will hear ANYTHING that I have to say!! This agency has lied to keep my children away from me,and if I was such a horrible person,they wouldnt have had to lie! My son was placed in 4 sexual molesters home. I kept asking questions to the state child advocate and they lied and told me my son was not hurt. I then sent them is wrap sheet and to there disbelief I caught them red handed. The case worker just spilled her guts and told me Missouri has been harboring him and DFS has been pressuring the Corrupt Judges to not do anything to him. Yet they coutuine to place children in his home. I got a gift on at my door the entire case files with every detail in them. THe corruption is so deep and twisted the children are like test Monkeys abused, sexual molested, beaten, made to sleep in horiffic places and yet the DFs agents allow. They all should go to prison for two years and no chance of parole just as a parent has to go. The lady who shoot and killed the worker she got what she deserved. the facts are this the American public will revolt and start taking matters in there own hands and you the Government will kill parnets trying to save there children and I'm one of them.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a grandmother of a child taken into CPS custody from the hospital shortly after birth due to bad choice by her parents (which I have zero tolerance for) but instead of Smith County doing it's due diligence to place the child with family she was sent to foster care where strangers care for her. I have requested to take her and the CPS investigator in a text to my daughter told her that the people she choose failed the background check but in a conversation I had on speaker phone with that same investigator he stated they were still in the preliminary stages and explained the stages, background check (I know I have no record), talk to neighbors (I've asked no one has talked to any of them and by the way my neighbors are supportive of my attempts to get my granddaughter), home study (no ones been here). My granddaughter will be in foster care going on a week now. I'm at wits end on their lies. How do you fight blatant lies that are documented? As a grandparent I can provide the security, stability and love this child need while her parents get their act together, I WILL NOT GIVE UP SMITH COUNTY CPS!!!!REPORT COMMENTS
