Hi, I have so much homework ever single day. I already go to school for 8 hours a day and still have to go home and do more work! We are kids not adults. We already have a limited amount of years as kids and homework takes half of that away. I was not born to work, I work to live!REPORT COMMENTS

I am sick I homework and it is ridiculous because we come home at 3:30 and stay doing homework until bedtime! If you agree PLEASE sign this petition to BAN HOMEWORK!REPORT COMMENTS

Homework is like 70% why students fail their classes. A little homework it's fine but stacks of homework is a BIG-NO-NO. Teachers gives a lot of homework to student, student stayed up late to finish the homework they were given, next day student gets sleepy in class, student gets in trouble. TEACHER WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN!! I would rather go to summer school. You get out two hours earlier than usual but only have 15-20 min break and I get no homework. Rather than going to school for 8 hours then go home and do another 5 hours of homework.REPORT COMMENTS

My life has been homework for all of this semester. I think teachers and professors need to chill with all of it and let students live their lives. I don't want to be at school for seven and a half hours and then go home to another five hours of homework. Total BS.REPORT COMMENTS

In countries where kids have no homework, they learn more! You see, homework is not a "review" of the work, it is just too much work! Kids work better if they are given work in moderation, and homework completely destroys the purpose of having work in moderation, so kids are ready to work at school!REPORT COMMENTS

I swear to God, I try my best. And I do it, but I am tired, cranky, and a bother to my parents. Uneducated parents do no understand the level of homework assigned. And honestly, the only people who could handle all this homework are the "subject smart students" (a minimal fraction of our population) and the rich. The rich in particular because they have maids, money, and understanding parents. The rest of us aren't so lucky. Needless to say, I have practically a nonexistent social life. AND I skip lunch. I'm also in ten clubs and all honors. AND I have to babysit. AND I'm in debate. AND I have to do chores. I do not have a chance to start my homework until eleven o'clock. Why can't teachers simply work with students? Is that really so much to ask? We spend eight hours in school as it is.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm suffering from sleep deprivation and overwhelming amounts of stress due to excessive amounts of homework. I get home after all my extra-curricular activities, around 8 and then have 5-6 hours of homework. I have no time for a sleep let alone a social life. The lack of sleep due to homework has not positively affected my grades. Stop telling kids to join clubs,go to sleep early, be social, and do ALL homework! It is not possible, the only way to make it possible is to get rid of homework or diminish the amount.REPORT COMMENTS
