I cannot afford Obama care. It was cheaper for me to take the penalty. And that was before the premium increases. Obama care sucks.

Ever since ObamaCare started it was a nightmare. It wasn't affordable and the benefits were horrible. With the changes from ObamaCare Doctors offices have to update tons of paperwork and that can take up to a year or more to do, so now doctors in my area that were covered, aren't covered anymore and we have to drive an hour or more just to be seen by specific doctors. Each year when time to renew, my plan is no longer existent and then don't have many options to pick from, that will cover my current doctor and medications. We are pushed to settle with a certain coverage. Not able to find a coverage that works for us health wise and financially. Each renewal period my family and I have had to change doctors and overwhelmed to have to deal with medications not being covered anymore and then having to do trials of different meds to find one that works and is covered under the new insurance. This is just outrageous. All Obamacare has done is made lives more difficult, unreasonable and financially broken down. There must be a different way. All this did was hurt Americans, NOT help Americans. 2017 Rates and Deductibles are unexceptionable. This all needs to STOP!

Why should income be a factor if you're not applying for Medicaid? Just because I make a certain amount, doesn't mean I can afford high premiums for not even using the worthless insurance. I have other bills and a family to take care of. What ever happened freedom in this country? We used to have the freedom whether or not to have insurance. Now it's illegal to not have it? The premiums are higher than my mortgage, how can I afford that? Even if I could, there's no way I could ever reach the insane deductible.

Obamacare doesn't take into consideration those who can't afford it with the expenses they have. This is NOT AFFORDABLE after taking care of a household. AND to top it off, there's a penalty IF you CHOOSE not to purchase!? POTUS likes trying on the hero hat at our expense.

Regulate Medicare ...I have heard so many people that I have known of I have heard so many people say they do nothing but live off Medicare take trips and say they do nothing...only give it to those who REALLY need it...there are thousands and thousands who receive it because they tell a doctor or psychologist that They cannot handle life... that simple then they start receiving it when they are just being lazy! of course there are millions who really need it...it is not being closely monitored this wouldn't go on. I know of people who sell their food stamps for money...this is terrible ..when is supposed to be for their children...So much goes on it's pathetic! One day it will be obsolete then what? There are millions of people who live on the streets and these lazy people are still making excuses not to work..What is wrong with our system? Its not being properly monitored!

Obamacare is killing the middle class. Premiums have tripled and coverage has dropped . Why should we be responsible to pay for health care for the lazy. My health insurance for my wife, my daughter and myself takes up almost 20% of the combined monthly gross of me and my wife thanks to obamacare before obamacare I was paying about 1/3 of that and had lower copays and deductible. Nothing about this Affordable Healthcare Act is affordable. It doesn't even help those that qualify as I just seen even Obamacare rates have tripled for next year. Because Obama was hoping that the millennial generation would all jump onboard and help pay for the others basically he threatened with a tax at the end of the year to anyone who didn't have health insurance basically trying to force a younger generation that is healthy and in their 20's to buy health insurance that they really don't need and he was counting on that to off set the cost of others that he's basically giving health insurance to.I understand some people need the assistance and am not against helping those that need it and can't provide it for themselves but am 100% against giving any assistance to those that are in that predicament because they are lazy and choose not to help themselves. This needs to be stopped now.

Also... the "Affordable Care Act" is unaffordable! For working class who do not earn a lot even working full time, who are in states that have a "donut hole," this law is worse than useless. Those in this situation do not have a lot of money. They are forced to pick a Bronze Plan, which is still a budget breaker - we have to cut out something in our budget to pay for it. Personally, I have not had a real vacation in 30-some years, I do not go out to eat, I don't drink / smoke - what exactly should I cut out? Food? Medications? This takes money out of my pocket that I could use for medications and emergency medical care. It gives me insurance that is useless. It will have a $6,000 deductible. I don't have $600 in my savings, much less ten times as much. I'll never get the benefit of the insurance. I'd be looking at bankruptcy even with this insurance. I think the co-pays and co-insurance was outrageous too. Absolutely unaffordable - and now I have to pay ? $700 penalty? Well, I guess I will, because I'd rather have some money in my pocket to pay for a doctor visit for an illness, or x-ray, etc. This is the one law that has me turning from Democrat to Republican. It has GOT to go. You say there is a plan that is affordable for everyone? Maybe on the surface - but not when you look at what you get for that money. You get a $6,000 deductible plus. People who are forced by low income to look at Bronze plans do NOT have the money to pay such deductibles and copays. Thanks for putting this anchor around the necks of the working class. Worse than useless to the hardworking earners of poor wages which are pegged to the awfully low minimum wage.

I agree. That is not right to give out free health care to those who are capable of working, but umemployed. Why does it take laziness to get handouts? And we the hard working people have to pay out of our asses for insurances that dont even cover most of what we need. I work full time, have my own bills, but i also have chronic health problems. I do have insurance under my dad, but that can only cover so much. Each month I pay him $128. That doesnt even include dental. So how is it that I'm expected to pay a $325 bill from the er when I barely get by in life? Thats not right. I had to refrain from going to get medical help in fear of more bills piling up. My credit is excellent, and i woild hate to ruin it. But I can only do so much. America needs to aid its hard working people and put them before the lazy ones!

My insurance rates have gone from $450/month in 2015 to $800/month in 2016 to $1220/month in 2017 a 171% increase in 12 months. How the hell is this affordable health care??? The government lied in selling us Obama Care and fail to accept that it is not working, not affordable and not sustainable. Don't Vote Democrats, Don't vote Hillary or else you will all be screwed and your rates will continue to go up!!!

Rally at the Minnesota State Capitol, lower mall on Saturday, November 5th from 1 to 3 pm. Event name: Urgent Call to Stop MN Health Insurance Rate Hikes and Revise or Repeal the ACA. >>Join FB group page: Stop MN Health Insurance Rate Hikes ***Many Minnesotan families and small business owners are being devastated by the astronomically huge health insurance rate hikes and limited provider choices and more. Lives and businesses are being ruined - opposite of what the ACA had intended to do. Here is my own example of the astronomically huge premium and deductible increases the last four years 2013 - 2017. Just taking a walk down memory lane.... Below is a Minnesota Medica Silver plan my family of 5 had in 2013 with annual premiums $598/mo. and deductible $10,400. Now for 2017 Minnesota Medica Inspiration HealthEast Silver Copay Monthly Premium $1,979.80 Over 200% increase!! Deductible Family $11,500 Coverage 60% after deductible To save on premiums we downgraded plans three times and are now on MN Health Partners Peak plan limited coverage to the metro area. We can leave the metro or our state - out of network. We have lost ALL of our doctors of 15 years and our clinics!! REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW ********** Title 1 of the Quality Affordable Health Care for All Americans (hte ACA) This Act puts individuals, families and small business owners in control of their health care. It reduces premium costs for millions of working families and small businesses by providing hundreds of billions of dollars in tax relief ? the largest middle class tax cut for health care in history. It also reduces what families will have to pay for health care by capping out-of-pocket expenses and requiring preventive care to be fully covered without any out-of-pocket expense. For Americans with insurance coverage who like what they have, they can keep it. Nothing in this act or anywhere in the bill forces anyone to change the insurance they have, period. >>>>>Everything in the paragraph above is a lie. We are no longer in control of our health care and can't leave the metro area or leave our state of MN - no coverage. Our premiums are through the roof - no tax relief. No middle class tax cut unless income near poverty. Out of pocket expenses huge. Can't keep insuance coverage you had because premiums and deductibles too high forcing down grades in insurance, losing your clinics and doctors. Every sentence here is a lie - or they seriously didn't do their due diligence!
