Can't understand why I am have to pay $800 dollars a month for my wife my son and myself when we are all three healthy individuals. We were doing just fine with a medical savings account. Now instead of saving for my sons college I am putting everything extra towards medical insurance. Obamacare is a disgrace that should never have passed congress. This just shows that politicians are out of touch with the people of this country.Sep 12th, 2016Someone from Martins Ferry, OH writes:
My beliefs are my own. Doctors are paid to push drugs, they're compensated with trips and money to prescribe/ push drugs. This shouldn't be allowed, it's a total conflict of interest. Most if not all the drugs there pushing have side effects. I could go on and on but Bottom line is no one should have to pay for a flawed system. I.'ll never buy Obamadon'tcare. When the medical field get off the pharmaceutical companies payroll and start using natural remedies, we may have something worth buying. After all a lot of medicine come from nature, then they take it to a lab and turn it into a frankenscript with side effects. That way they can push more frankenscripts for the side effects. We need doctors that aren't controlled by conflict of interest and better educated in nutrition.REPORT COMMENTS

Dear Ms Feinstein, Thank you for the opportunity to expand on the subject. Although it is true that the affordable care act presents the following pros: ? Prevents insurance companies from charging more or refusing coverage to individuals with pre-existing medical conditions ? Allows young adults to stay on their parents? health insurance plan until age 26 ? Requires all new insurance plans to cover preventive care without co-pay. It also presents the following challenges that many middle income Americans are facing as follows: ? Forces a lot of big retailers to set full time employment at 30 hours forcing adults to seek a second employment instead of 40 hours. ? Having two jobs increases their taxes. ? Creates higher premiums for Americans who already have health insurance. ? The affordable care act has huge co-pays before any real coverage is provided and mostly every preventative care is out of pocket. Obamacare, in my humble opinion, is a disaster that only benefits the insurance companies at the expense of middle class taxpayers. The poor already receive it, the rich can already afford it, and the middle class is paying for it. Please accept my most sincere apology if I sound rude in any way, but the American dream where choices are optional, is disappearing. Feel free to respond to me at your earliest convenience. Respectfully yours, Steve Moren U.S. Citizen and proud tax payerREPORT COMMENTS

I had great insurance until Obamacare was enacted, now I can't afford it. Don't force me to pay for a product that I can't afford. Instead of receiving a refund on my income tax like I normally do, I was forced to pay a fine instead. Stay out of my pocket Obama, I determine how I will spend my money not you.REPORT COMMENTS

Obamacare is forcing a lot of people to back off on food, etc. so they can pay for insurance that they can't use. Some people have lost their homes because of Obamacare cost and penalties.REPORT COMMENTS

Please stop this citizens tax. I pay $600 a month for my wife and I to be covered. I didn't file my 1120S from correctly due to my CPA forgetting to fill out a 2553 form. This lead to me losing subsidization and having to pay $600 a month for NOTHING other than avoiding the 2016 penalty.REPORT COMMENTS

I cannot afford it at all.We bought insurance for 6 months .It was expensive and covered nothing but a physical (maybe,I had to tell the doctor over and over what it covered). The copays are still high AND Doctors charge me more because I have insurance although it still comes from out of pocket. The stress from having insurance is probably causing more damage and no Doctor anywhere can give you a estimate of cost. Who exactly is benefiting from this?I would rather have a straight health savings account without having to pay for the insurance as well. I don't even like or believe in western medicine except for emergencies.REPORT COMMENTS

I am going in debt and paying three times the amount I used to pay. I had a PPO before and now I can only afford an HMO plan and the last two years was the first time I had to pay taxes because I made more money with overtime that I didn't know I had to report. I worked overtime to pay for insurance and got pentalized for it. Oh did I mention I'm a single parent. Get rid of it and go back to the way it was or come up with a better plan that's doesn't include Obama's name please. It needs to represent America not one single president name.REPORT COMMENTS

How can it possibly be a good idea to make it so that adults now have to pay out of pocket for all eye care costs on a Kaiser Permanente plan. I also cant change plans during the year, I am forced to stay with a plan that is costing me too much money till open enrollment in January! This is wrong!!REPORT COMMENTS

Democrats forced Obamacare on us. Even as this horrific healthcare law is starting to crumble before our eyes, Democrats are still refusing to admit that this law has been a fiasco and needs to be repealed. Why should they? They do not suffer the consequences of their action. We pay the price! Whatever happened to freedom in this country? Since when did we become a communist state? ,REPORT COMMENTS

Finally it's happening: Supreme Court Justice signs off on Obama?s removal ! Barack Hussein Obama has been narrowly dodging impeachment ever since he first took office seven long years ago. Now, however, it looks like his luck has finally run out. There?s a bombshell of a rumor going around right now that Chief Justice John Roberts has signed off on Interpol to have Obama removed from office for multiple counts of treason. http://www.usapoliticstoday.com/finally-it-happening-supreme-court-justice-signs-off-on-obamas-removal/REPORT COMMENTS
