My mother recently moved to the U.S. from China to live with me. As a new immigrant, she is banned from claiming means-tested public benefits including Medicare or Medicaid for 5 years; but she is obligated to share the responsibility and escalating cost of health insurance from the moment she entered the country. For her, a 59-year old female non-smoker, the LOWEST monthly premium available at the market in Texas for 2017 is $483 ($6,650 deductible, $7,150 Out-of-pocket) with Molina. But to get a decent insurance with decent network such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, the LOWEST rate is $717 per month ($6,850 deductible, $7,150 Out-of-pocket). How dare a government force such a high cost on my family? How dare a government put my family in a difficult situation to benefit some others? The Chinese communists wouldn't dare to do such horrendous things! Myself is a new U.S. citizen. I swear I will NEVER EVER side with American democrats.

Obama care has had a very negative impact in my life. Now I have to pay way more, while I get less coverage, and a higher deductible. I get punished for working harder to make more money to support my family. If I make a little bit of money more I have to pay more for health insurance. How is this" helping" so many of us that get up early every morning to go to work hard and can't even afford to take a vacation and on top of that be penalized if you don't have insurance. We have the duty to contribute to sociaty but also the right to a more decent life. Obama care is the opposite to that. I wish he would have never been elected!

I never get sick I paid at most 15$ a year for health care before obama care now I pay 300$ a month for insurance premium on insurance I can't afford and don't need. I have now lost 98lbs from eating out of the trash to pay for health care I don't use. I lost my apartment and live out of my car just to pay some health care company for coverage I don't need. Please reverse obama care and put it back the way it was. I work 50 hours a week at a retirement home I deserve an apartment and a warm bed for all my hard work.

I am a 60 yr old single woman and I cannot beleive we are forced to make decisions whether or not to marry someone we love deeply because of the cost of healthcare in America! It is disgusting and needs to be reformed so there is "affordable" healthcare. Isn't that what Obamacare was supposed to do? Affordable healthcare for eveyrone? ha! It is less affordable now than before this went into effect. It won't be long that one wil have to choose between housing and food in order to pay for this. Unbelieveable and I for one wish to reform this.

I pay $4,800 premium for silver level coverage and the next $2,000 deductible out of pocket before even any medications are covered. Going up to a total of $7,400 for just myself in 2017. Ridiculous. I hope any new healthcare insurance will cross state lines for purchase and coverage. The young people being able to stay on their parent's insurance until age 26 and no cap on coverage are good for many people.

I have health insurance because of the Affordable Care Act. A recent college graduate, I work two part time jobs (~50 hours a week), until I am able to find one full time job in the science field I graduated in. I pay around $200 per month, and am happy to do so in order to have health insurance. I go to the doctor once a year for an annual checkup and the dentist twice a year for the same reason. I am certainly not abusing the system, but am fortunate to have health insurance in case of a catastrophic event. I depend on the ACA and do not wish to lose my healthcare.

My premiums for a family of three will be $1,100 monthly. Up from $300 for my individual policy. I'm getting married in Sept 2017 and having a child in March 2017, this will cost me an extra $800 per month of health insurance. I'm not getting an $800 a month raise at work, not sure how this is going to work.

I am an internist practicing medicine in office. People who get insurance through obama care don't even deserve health care. They are noncompliant, unrealistic expectations, demand unnecessary tests and treatment. They come in with mild cold and request antibiotics. Because doctors are graded by patient satisfaction score that medicaid started, they get what they want, which waste medical resources and tax payer money. It won't work for quality care, access to medical care, low cost. That is why Health insurance premium continues to increase and nationwide opioid misuse, medical doctors leave medicine with burnout. Please put a top to obama care and amend Medicare and Medicaid program. And ban on patient satisfaction survey..

This is in direct response to ConsumersUnion.org requesting that I sign their petition to preserve Obamacare. Their appeal? "Because so many people are now going to be impacted by a repeal." This is the problem with Democrats. They pretend to be launching a ship and when it has a hole in it from the very moment it launches, why were they not concerned that their would be people out there clinging onto the hull of a ship that has cap-sized and likely to drown them. The fault is not Republican in nature. It was a poorly crafted bill and doomed millions to losing healthcare once costs -- costs which they knew were going to escalate out of control -- reached unsustainable heights. IDIOTS!!

I am out of college only 2 years now. I am 26 and working on building a small business and work hard for my income. I find it unfathumable that Obama care - "affordable healthcare" costs around 15- 20% of ANYONES income. I am healthy, don't smoke, rarely socially drink and work out regularly. I shouldn't be paying these prices. If anything keep healthcare insurance but change Obama Care so its ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE. I can understand $50.00 a month for someone who is healthy and gets a yearly check up, but $200+ for someone who is what is considered in top condition health wise and only makes $1400 a month is outrageous and UNJUST !!! THIS HAS TO CHANGE OR A NEW PROGRAM COMPLETELY !!

I really hate Obamacare! So for 3 years now, we've not been able to actually afford the premiums and other expenses related to Obamacare, so we are stuck paying the stupid tax. We did buy dental insurance, but I'm not sure I see the point anymore. My dental coverage dropped me during the summer for no reason. Didn't tell me. Just said that my legal documents for being married didn't really go through...so i didn't qualify to be on my husband's plan. Nice. Real nice. Honestly, it's ridiculous that we can't afford insurance, even though my husband is a software engineer and makes around $80-105k a year. Yes...you read that right. The monthly premium alone for just my husband and I is about $1,000 a month....and they won't cover a thing until the deductible (about 15k) is spent and met. We don't go to the doctor enough to justify the expense. Thank God we don't have kids. After rent, food, taxes, etc we can't afford this stuff. It came down to either SAVING MONEY for out future (which you must do since software engineers are temporary workers and must change jobs often) or buy the useless healthcare policy. I'm so mad about all this drama, and I'm not alone. I know lots of families that are going broke over the so-called "affordable" care act.

Forcing people to pay a penalty for not having access to healthcare is absolutely disgusting. And forcing me to have this so-called "Affordable" policy has done nothing but cost me money. That's it. Nothing else. Has not covered one single thing, and now the deductible resets and will have to start all over again. Putting my health and well-being at the mercy of money grubbing insurance companies is the worst "solution" I could have imagined. I resent being forced to be with these insurance scammers, and that is all it is...a scam. A scam, by the way, that I have to work two jobs to "afford".

Obamacare is a disaster if you are a working American not getting any allowances. It covers so little that we are paying out of pocket to see dr. we need to see and paying ridiculous insurance bills that keep going up. It is the worst insurance I have ever had and by far most expensive. It was absurd to find our Obamacare is going up about 70%. Who ever heard of such a thing. This is not okay!

Obama is thankfully on the way out. Now let's do away with his so called health care program. It's time to put a stop to the practice of taking from the working class to pay the non working welfare types.Obama, you ain't Robin Hood, a "robbing hood" would be more accurate.Stop taking the money that I earn by working and giving it to those who don't work.I have to pass a drug test to make money.Do they have to pass one to get the money Obama steals from me? Probably not.If I had a choice I would give the money to the ASPCA or burn it before I would give another cent to these people. In short, I have had enough of Obamacrap and I'm happy there is no Clinton to carry on the Obamunist policies.I hope more people will sign this petition and President Trump repeals this load of overpriced crap.

A skilled trade worker making $22 an hour will now, because of obama care, be making net $15 before taxes, to insure his family thru his employer. This is what you propose in n government we need to pay inskilled workers to call there income a living wage. The cost to keep health care is now on the backs of the working class. This is a fact and washington better repeal before another recession worse than the housing recession occurs because if it. When obama took office we paid less than 200 a month for health insurance, now paying 700 with higher deductables and prescription cost with less coverage, like lab costs. Soon to be paying $1100 a month, or more than $7 per hour just to have health insurance which is now required thanks to obama care.
