I am a single mother and was using my GI Bill slowly. I used it to start a career in the service industry. When the economy took a hit, I lost my job. It was the first time in my life that I was completely unemployed. I thought it was the perfect time to continue my education. However, I only had 2 months left on my GI Bill. The GI Bill should not expire after 10 years. I served and earned my benefits. I deserve the opportunity to use them.REPORT COMMENTS
