I had spent money in preparation which may go waste. We saw a ray of hope after a long time which was shut by USCIS.

Hope you are doing well. I would like to bring a concern to your attention. I have been in US for more than 10 years and I was waiting for my Employment Based (EB) -2 priority dates. On Sep9th 2015, Department of Homeland Security had moved the dates to 1st July 2011. This was a welcoming news and I had had started my application process with my Immigration Lawyer. This involved completing all the paperwork, medical examination and filling all the other documentation as well. On Sep 25 2015, DHS backdated the dates to July'09. Following this, I can no longer go ahead and submit my "Adjustment of Status" application. This situation has caused a lot of stress on me and my family including paying medical bills, lawyer fees and taking time off from work to complete all the process. This also has an impact on my international travel plans which has changed several times following the Sep9th announcement by USCIS and department of Homeland security. We are eager to know if you can look into this matter at the earliest so that DHS can honor it's original dates as announced in Sep9th, 2015 bulletin. This will have a positive impact on me and my families life. Thank you Regards

i have completed all formalities to file AOS on october 1st. took leave from office to Completed medicals by driving 120 miles on 2 days. Payed Attorney fees. Prepared all documentation. On September 9th i was feeling finally happy that my dream is finally coming true, on 25th September all my dreams shattered on to ground due to updated bulliten. it is highly disappointing to all people like me suffering because some official decided to revert the bulletin.

Reversing the visa bulletin had hit me both financially and Emotionally. When I saw little ray of hope, I see it got take. Away. Now myself and my family will be in limbo and not sure for how many years can we still survive like this.

Why give hope to families and take it away? I guess stress was not stressed enough for the families who have been going through this.

Revised October Visa bulletin is a big loss for me and my family because we spent a lot of time in collecting the documents and also spent close to $4500 for medicals, lawyer fees etc. Also hope of better future shaded with revised Visa bulletin. Please honor the original visa bulletin published on September 9th at least till the end of October.
