Please free us from this GOLDEN CAGE. Can't even visit my mom when she needs me (especially when she needed her daughter help due to health issues) beside sitting here and crying can't say anything more than that. Or else Instead of troubling us like this just send all the immigrants to their own countries and you guys rule your won world and enjoy......... And don't out source any of your projects only make your non immigrants do all your work.REPORT COMMENTS

I've been on H1B since 2008 and it's been more than 6 years since I've started working in USA. I have a Master's degree from a US University and I have lot of passion for technology and startups. I would like to work on innovative technologies and launch my own startup. I'm not able to do that because of restrictions imposed by H1B. It would be great if I can get a EAD, so I can make use of my entrepreneurial skills to help start companies and generate jobs in America. Giving EAD for H1B employees with approved I140s will greatly help American economy.REPORT COMMENTS

If govt issue EADs to everyone who has approved I-140, it will be such a blessing. My employer is literally exploiting me, financially and Mentally! Its such a stressful situation for me! My employer is keeping more than 60% of my salary for himself and paying me bare minimum. If I work overtime and get paid 1.5times by the client, he keeps everything and pays me bare monthly salary. There is no way to question him. He outrightly says states that they got regular hourly pay. He doesnt even provide health insurance to his employees. There is not a single day that i don?t cry! Work stress, family burden and top of this my employers exploitation!! Such a hell. I am taking all this pain just because he holds my approved I140 and I don?t want to change employer and go through labor and I140 process all over again, I can?t afford to lose my priority date. I just have no choice but go through this stress god knows how many years until my PD becomes current!REPORT COMMENTS

This long term wait to I-485 has tied the immigrant employers hands to the employer who uses it as bargain chip to reduce or deny the basic employee benefits. I know that we can change employers by filing AC21 but this introduces the need to file the PERM and I-140 through the new employer, which is an hassle. Also I have been in US for the past 11 years but have not bought my own home, not got any expensive electronics or automobile because of the uncertainty on my legal immigrant status. I also have lost many job opportunities because of my H1-B status since most of the clients want only GC or citizens. Please approve this rule to provide EAD to all I-140 approved immigrants. We came in to this country legally, has been part of the American society and system for so long as law abiding citizens all the while contributing to the US economy. I am sure it is fair to give us the liberty to work with peace of mind and not miss any deserving opportunity.REPORT COMMENTS

I am advisor to Chief Executives in Insurance Industry and have helped the Insurers to improve customer experience through employee engagement, process improvements and innovation. I am providing advisory through solution development and implementation management services to the Insurance Industry that has resulted in creating local employment since the area I work mandates creation and employment of local talent due to the proprietary nature and agile project management methodology. Having been a creator of new local jobs in US market, I myself am not able get permanent immigration status and my innovative energy in creating more such solution that will create more local jobs is drained by the worry of keeping myself and family in status with every visa renewal. I have a great solution for creating, sustaining and flourishing of hyperlocal economy, which will create hundreds of thousands of local jobs by supporting local entrepreneurs / business to increase business with their existing customer and acquire new customers through relevant engagement throughout their life events. I could not proceed with the venture since in my current H1B visa status I could not open business but mandated to work only as employee of the sponsor, thus denying me opportunity to create employment. Most importantly, given permanent residence, I would liquidate all my fixed properties in India and bring my life savings of around USD 500,000 US to invest in local economy and buy home in USA, which will in turn increase the contribution to US economy. Both myself and US economy are in loose-loose situation with the current immigration procedure. Making it much easier for the qualified and talented people like me will help USA economy to grow and flourish with more business and thus job creations - making win-win situation.REPORT COMMENTS

There was a lot of talk about fixing the broken immigration system lately. This is one of those & it affects millions of legal, documented, high skilled workers who are just stuck in their careers and lives due to the broken system. I support this petition.REPORT COMMENTS
