It is a shame that an average citizen who is truly posing no physical threat to society could be targeted for something as simple as exercising the constitutional right for free speech. Likewise its sickening to imagine how many vile criminals such as pedophiles or rapists seem to just float through life undiscovered and without much public attention--until of course the unthinkable happens such as in the Sandusky case. Interesting since society would do much better for everyone if the energy were directed in the correct place so that those dangerous people who are the TRUE threat to society would be dealt with accordingly.REPORT COMMENTS

While working as a salesman for the pharmaceutical industry I discovered the manager was listending in to my home via the phone modem; she actually spoke in my house while listening through the lap tops speaker. I am a federal employee and am a victim of mobbing. I have addressed this with my manager several times and nothing effective has been done. In a recent survey meeting the coworker continued dirogatory comment and use the episode to promote his agenda the the agency needs to recruit better employees. When I started in this department, I was not given even the basic tools,like a computer, and was told to go intothe field and do the work. My manager did not deal with my training for four full months. I was a trainiee under this abusive OJI. Meetings were held in the office and I was treated as invisible. I was not provided with addresses for locations where field meetings were held. I was gossiped about accross the phone lines as were a few other in the unit cosidered 'inadequate" I was never provided with instructions on how to do thejob. I received formal training four month later and then was able to see a difference in how others were treated. Abiut five months ago I walked in the office and a phone call was interuppted to a stupid comment again about recruiting then wrong people. It was repeTED WHEN i RETURNED TO THE OFFICE 10 MINUTES LATER. i WENT TO MY BOSS ABD ADVISED HER THAT i WAS WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME TO FILE AN eeo COMPLAINT. At thid point she had a breif talk that really has not fixed the proble. Five months later he is still spreding the word about my so called inadequacy at the job in that recent survey meeting. I consider this a hate crime with no law ro back it up. There is some talk about suing those who contributr to this environment qnd the manager that allows it. I can see that this workplace abuse costs the government plenty in non work, and ineffective work, Please place it on the books as a crime so that it is taken seriously and stopped. I have already had 9 months of therapy to be able to put in a productive weeks, Yes, I am rated on my performace inspite the conditions I am forced to work under.REPORT COMMENTS
