My intention is to educate the American public on what is happening in 10 of America?s western states to our federally protected 'wildlife', on U.S. public lands, at the hands of the U.S. Dept. of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), paid for by U.S. Taxpayers in excess of $48 million annually! The removal of our wild mustangs is UNETHICAL, INHUMANE & ILLEGAL! Please stop the round ups. Please take a moment to look at the 5 photos that I have attached. *Photo #1 attached is a picture of "Babies of Slaughter?. The U.S. Dept. of Interior's, BLM is "managing" America's wild horses and burros into extinction. Here is a staggering fact: Today, there are more than 50,000 horses being held captive in over-crowded holding pens (prisons) paid for by the U.S. taxpayers, and there is less than 20,000 free roaming -horses in our western states!! Of course, these are the horses that have not been illegally sold at auction, transported out of the country and slaughtered. I would hate to think how many of our mustangs have been slaughtered for $10 ? 20 per head. It sickens me to know that there are such immoral, disgusting and disgraceful individuals (U.S. Dept. of Interior, BLM workers, stock contractors, helicopter pilots, horse transporters, auctioneers and kill buyers) that support themselves with the blood and horror of one of America's only remaining living icons; the wild mustang! The BLM has an adoption program for the captured horses and burros; however there are 50,000 horses to be adopted and few individuals that have the land or money to support a horse, which is precisely why we should let them live on U.S. Public Lands, at no cost to the tax payers. The way the system is supposed to work is the horses are given 3 chances to be adopted by the public; after 3 strikes and no forever homes have been found, these horses are sent to auction an many times only $10 ? 20 per head is paid, when the adoption fee is $125. The horses are tragically and unjustly stripped from their native lands, forever held captive or sent to slaughter. Mind you, all of the above mentioned actions; helicopter round ups, entrapment, transporting federally protected wildlife, housing federally protected wildlife, selling and slaughtering federally protected wildlife are all ILLEGAL acts! In 1971, President Richard Nixon signed into law The Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971, (Public Law 92-195). HOW: Here is an overview of the "GATHER" process ("gather" being the BLM's politically correct term for terrifying helicopter horse and burro round ups that are occurring at an alarming rate in 10 of America's western states). It is very common for America's horses and burros to be injured during round up and/or entrapment, or even die while trying to escape this horrifying fate of loss of freedom, separation and imprisonment (*See attached photos 2 & 3). America's wild horses and burros suffer from being driven too long and too far -

Wild horses promote natural balance...they do NOT overgraze, they do NOT pollute, they do NOT litter, they are NOT aggressive and SHOULD be afforded the acknowledgement and respect of all ancient ones. They deserve their own place without interference from mankind!REPORT COMMENTS

This is Americans land. Not BLM, the forest service or the government. We the people want our wild horses left wild. We do not want them rounded up and held in pens or sent to slaughter. We do NOT have an overpopulation of wild horses. We DO have a loss of the lands they were on in 1971 and were to be protected on. Over half of the 53 million acres BLM has lost, sold, swapped, given away or stole from the wild horses since 1971. Now they are left with 26 MILLION acres and we only have fewer then 30 thousand wild horses left wild and free. Do the math. It is not what amounts to 1 horse per over 800 acres it is those freaken privately owned head of livestock on those acres that th wild horse has to "share" with those million head of ranchers cattle & sheep. Remove them and leave the wild horses alone. Americans do not want to be subsidizing the welfare ranchers. Time is up, we have had enough. Get rid of Sally Jewell and find a director who will do the job. Manage & protect the wild horses.REPORT COMMENTS
