PLEASE consider the many lives that are still haunted by Hurricane Ike either financially, emotionally, mentally, and/or still need repairs to their homes and vehicles. Putting a deadline on services related to a natural disaster and redtaping the releease of funds defeats the purpose of helping people recover. Social service agencies are back logged waiting on funds and any deadline doesn't help in the recover effort if the funding isn't made available. Extend the deadline until the job is complete and lives are restored.REPORT COMMENTS
