I do not understand why it is so hard or difficult to pass a law that is trying to keep everyone who eats (which is everyone) safe. We have a right to know what we are eating, we have a right to know if it is safe, we have rights! Food is fundamental for growth and development as well as the foundation of our health and wellbeing however more and more frequently we are getting sicker, and it's becoming all too "normal." Prevention is the foundation of health. Let's Fix THIS! -

We must have the right to know where our food is coming from as well as how it was processed. So sad we are not protected by our government.REPORT COMMENTS

I have heard about this law before, and I cannot believe it still has not been passed!!! Unbelievable and sad. This was a serious incident of a child's death and a mother who just wanted the company to say "We won't let it happen again." She couldn't even get that. This is an issue that needs to be recognized and a law that needs to be passed. SIGN THE PETITION!!REPORT COMMENTS

Dear President Trump and Congress, I feel that safe food should be a fundamental right as a citizen of the greatest nation on Earth. Strict testing and stiff penalties should be enforced for any food manufacturer found to have contaminated products. The Dept of Ag or the FDA should be able to shut down ANY manufacturer found to have contamination, even if it's a large corporation who donates large amounts of money.REPORT COMMENTS

Dear Congress & President Trump, do you know what is in your family's meat & food? Could they die of E. Coli by surprise at any time? I suppose any of us could. Do you not agree that the United States Department of Agriculture should be working to assure food safety? Do you agree that they should be able to stop companies that continuously poison the food that we are paying for-or is their loss of profit due to their customers' poisons & deaths already worked into their budgets-I bet it is, is that ok with you?REPORT COMMENTS
