The government should be embarrassed for how they are treating people. Companies should be ashamed of themselves. People have died because too many people only care about the money. It's time to make a change. -

It is appealing that in this day and age of such advanced science that can practically eliminate the threat of food borne illness, we continue to live under this threat solely for the purpose of the profit margins in the meat packing industry. All of those involved in the lobbying against tighter restrictions and USDA authority to shut down plants that can't meet minimum pathogen standards should be forced to have individual conversations with the hundreds if families that have lost love ones. I would think after hearing the pain and seeing the against caused by their greed. There is no amount of profit that is worth the life of another.REPORT COMMENTS

This stories break my heart. It is so unfair that Kevin passed in this way. To think that in this day in age we still don't know what we are eating and the very people who are supplying it are the ones holding the information from us. I want to know what is in the food we eat. We have the right to know if our meat is infected and we should be able to trust if it fails inspection it will not be served. Bring Kevin's Law to light!REPORT COMMENTS

I am very saddened that are country is run by greed and not the well-being of the human race and our environment. How is it that our farmers are controlled by corporations such as Monsanto, and cannot even replant their own seed? Something needs to be done .REPORT COMMENTS

I am in the process of watching Food, Inc for the firsttime. To say I am disgusted by where our country is and is headed in the food industry is a gross understatement. I think every American should watch this movie and sign this petition. It is time for the people to start controlling our trajectory not big businessREPORT COMMENTS

Monsanto's board members have worked for the EPA, advised the USDA, and served on President Obama's Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. They were also appointed by the CLINTON administration. SCJ Clarence Thomas, Islam Siddiqui, former Chief Agriculture, FORMER MONSANTO EXECS!
