Taxpayers want the USDA to enforce food safety standards, Kevin's Law is a step in the right direction, (unlike increased line speeds which results in more pathogens in our food).

Seriously sick and tired of seeing food contamination in the news and nothing being done about it. This is issue is not addressed enough.

Why is this travesty allowed? Nurishing food is a basic need that every human has. In our society where bad food is being subsidized, health care is flourishing because our health is deteriorating. People are dying in many ways, but seeing a child die from poor policing of food processing is the most heinous, and possibly the easiest to change. Please help get this law passed. No one is immune to the possibility of having this happen in their own community. I don't eat meat, but my family members do.

I am disgusted to think that the food I eat, anywhere, can unsatisfactorily met for me to eat. The role of the government is to protect their citizens, not big business. It's impossible for me to believe that the USDA has limited power and control over the inspection of foods. I feel that I as an American should not have to think twice about what is in my beef, to enjoy the comfort of eating beef. I asl as someone who wants to eat food from healthy food vendors, please do whatever is necessary to enforce a stronger capitalist state that focuses on protecting its citizens, not big business. If prices rise, I am certain the American way of life will not fall apart as they will value better, healthier foods in the long run.

If the officials who were put in to power to represent the people (or their constituents), yet fail to do so, never speaking with the people to make sure they are doing right by those people, they should forcibly be removed from office and persecuted and striped of all money and power and the ability to stay in PUBLIC SERVICE positions. If any official makes money or accepts "donations" for personal profit or gain they should be punished the same way. Holding PUBLIC OFFICE was never a money making business. Well....it should never have been allowed. Making money off of hurting, misleading, compromising or KILLING people should be punishable by death. Death because I am not paying for you to live out your life after you cause mine harm. WE ARE THE 99%, WE WILL NOT BE SILENT, WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED. The people you swore an oath to protect, the people whose backs you have made money off of, we see you and just like light, we ALWAYS beat darkness.
