I believe there are many prisoners who have been placed in prisons when they have committed one offense and that one was not an offense which if tried at the state level would have carried the monumental time to serve that the Federal Court passed down to the prisoner. Our penal system desperately needs changes. Our jails and prisons warehouse bodies and do nothing to help change lives. Those that are blessed to have friends and families to encourage them have a chance. Those that have no one become institutionalized and repeat the cycle. For the same reasons written so well above , I also agree with reinstating "parole" to federal prisoners....Let me just add one more relivant point...When in life I am tring to make an educated desisioncabout something which undoubtably needs attention I decide by looking at the "pros" & "cons" and I too agree based on the obvious reasons as qrittwn above..How can a system be so stict and un wavering in ine respect although in another part of the same sytem just diffrent division that systwm again can allow workers etc. cause by their biast, lazy desisions, lack of reasoning, cause families to be torn apart for absolutly no reason...For me personally just because a family member of my sons fathers side called over and over...I believe a total if 6-7 times...she is the only one and she calls with exact same lies. For a women whom my son whom was about to turn. At the time and myself to havent ever been in her compNY FOR A YEAR PLUS WHILE/WHWN THW CAKLS BY HER TO CPS WERE MADE....AMAZINGLY UNRESPONSIBLE TO Do TO US...our rights are and have been violated in worst way to the highest degree and I pray that God has mercy on their souls...REPORT COMMENTS
