My brother is 64 and has ten years to go on a 30 year porn sentence. He is in ill health and can't get the help he needs while incarcerated. He's in a low security facility in a highly polluted area of the country. He should be awarded parole for two decades of peaceful existence behind bars.Feb 4th, 2015Someone from Sunrise Beach, MO signed.

Federal sentences should not be so grossly unfair and extreme. How is it that, if a crime is committed and considered a state offense and a similar crime is committed and it is considered a federal offense, the punishment so vastly varies? The fact is, whoever makes these laws must be completely inept and does not have any sense of true justice. It is true that most Americans have no faith in the justice system or their government in general and the reason why is obvious. The U.S. government is run by a group of human beings who don't behave as if they have any common sense and certainly are not the pillars of moral society they would have you believe. How much money do these crooks make on our vast, expensive prison system? All sticking their hands in the pockets of true, decent, hardworking Americans. How much are they willing to take from average citizens? Maybe we should put our government on trial for grand larceny...REPORT COMMENTS
