Please repeal the WEP/GPO...the US Postal Service changed my disability retirement (began in 2009) from 1500.00 to 213.00 because I received my SS in 2014 and theyre making me pay back 14K they say I was overpaid..even though I've paid in SS since 1978 when I first began working at my first job, worked for them from 1997-2008 when I was hurt on job but I paid SS the entire time....This after denying my workers comp causing me to file for disability. Now I'm living on 1500.00 per month & can hardly make it with today's economy!REPORT COMMENTS

This effects me as I am a widow with a government pension, I am not entitled to any of my late husband pension. At least change the formula. 2/3 offset is way to high, wipes out all his pension. Even if I could just get a 1/4 of his pension. Seems unfair, the way it is now.REPORT COMMENTS

why don't our politicians do something constructive for a change & get rid of the wep law? It disadvantages people with low incomes even further.REPORT COMMENTS

All those years that I contributed to Social Security shouldn't be taken away from my surviving spouse because of the Government Offset. We shouldn't penalize those who have contributed enough to earn a benefit.REPORT COMMENTS

I worked for the USPS, and brought my military time towards my CSRS retirement. Over the years I worked a 2nd job to earn Social Security credits. My credits earned towards my Social Security should be for my benefit, not to benefit someone who has never worked. It's time to right a terrible wrong!REPORT COMMENTS
