If other states can make it legal why can't we? If it was such a bad thing then why do so many people do it, why are those other states letting it be legal, and why is it illegal in Indiana when booze is legal everywhere and there are always people doing violent things while drunk, killing people while driving drunk, and untold thousands of people going into work every day still a little drunk or hung over and being unproductive costing tens of thousands of dollars combined to their companies because of this? Smoking weed only last for a few hours, there is no hang over, no violent behavior, none of that you get from drinking. Its stupid to be illegal. It makes me mad and it makes me not like living in Indiana. I like smoking pot. I have very high anxiety and depression and I have been prescribed all kinds of medications and weed is hands down the best thing I can do. It does a better job than those drugs that cost God knows how much to formulate and it grows from the dirt! I like close to Illinois and they are on the right path. If I need to which I'm sure I am not alone like all the other thousands of Hoosiers that like close to state lines I will move a short distance to another state where I am not being denied the act of smoking weed. I am a college graduate, I have a 60k a year job, and I smoke weed every night when I get home. So I ask you how is weed bad for me?REPORT COMMENTS

My wife has been on several different anxiety medications over the past eight years. None of these medications have worked for her. We have been to the emergency room three times in the past year for her panic attacks. The kids ask me if their mom is going to die. She comes home from work crying and she does not want to keep going threw this day after day. I believe marijuana could help her but she wont use it because it is not legal. marijuana is not an illegal drug. Marijuana has never killed a person, but alcohol has killed millions nd still manages to be legal. Marijuana makes people happy, hungry and takes away all pain. I suffer from ptsd, depression, and hemroids. Its really hard to take all the meds the have me on and trying to work a full time with me being unstable.
