As a nurse I see many people afflicted with crippling diseases: cancer, MS, epilepsy, etc... These people should have the option of medical marijuana if they should choose to do so. We will give them lots of synthetic drugs that may or may not do anything to help them, if it does happen to help them there are almost always horrible side effects that go along with them. Other states have already legalized, it's time we did too.

It is unnecessary to charge people criminally for possession of marijuana. The laws reflect the social engineering tactic that was used to fund the DEA in the 1930's. Keeping a lie alive is as unevolved as it is draconian.

CBD oil needs to be legalized. Helping children with seizures should be done without hesitation.

Everyone should take a second glance at Marijuana use and effects. It is a much safe substitute to alcohol. Although it should not be promoted to advertise, neither should an alcoholic beverage. It has many good uses, compared to alcohol, also herb can be used as a source of fuel, how cool is that!? Many users only use it for medicinal purposes such as to ease pain. Also a majority use it for entertainment purpose similar to alcohol (also which is much much safer), still not safe to operate aa motorized vehicle however. Many users report that they still have full functionality over their actions, unlike alcohol where a person has little to no control of their behavior and will have to bear the consequences the next day. There is no point in use of alcohol, unless of course, that you are mentally deranged, when you could have the same feeling; plus possible health benefits from marijuana. Lawmakers in the State of Indiana, please take a moment to see what your townspeople really want done, not ecomically, but for the benefit and safety of everyone.

I am approaching 20 years old and I am a victim of temporal lobe epilepsy. Just last night I had a real bad seizure and it completely took my senses away for a minute or 2. My mom said I was reverted back to a child-like state of mind almost. Epilepsy is not a laughing matter. You can dope me up on as much man-made pills as you like, but I still continue to have seizures...Whereas my friend Jesse, who has just moved out to Colorado, has told me stories of child with epilepsy even worse than mine being prescribed extracted medical cannabis and their seizures going from 50 a day, to none...And yet there is still an issue with its effects? Why? I would like to be able to lead a normal life, seizure-free, and at the rate I'm going I'll be dead before I ever see that day...

Look at all the benefits of cannabis, they heavily outweigh the cons of using it. Then look at the other states and how they have benefited from legalizing it. Compare how many people have died because of alcohol compared to weed? If anything the roles should be reversed.
